Positive Affirmations for the Week of June 22-30, Joy

June 22nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 4-Acting/Claiming Affirmations, 5-Integrating/Embodying Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy, Week 4-Plus, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the last week-plus of June with the theme of Joy at DailyAffirm. This message serves as an overview for the acting and claiming affirmations of this fourth week and the integrating and embodying affirmations of the last three days of the month. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive an email alert each time a message is published, please subscribe to the Feedblitz announcement (see the lower part of the navigation bar).

About Acting/Claiming Affirmations and Joy
This week’s affirmations help you to step out in joy and with joy. You have been clearing yourself and readying yourself for these outward expressions and manifestations. If you are not quite ready to ACT from the consciousness of joy, then the better choice is to retreat or stand still. Acting from non-joy is detrimental. Focusing on these affirmations keeps your attention on joy and can make you more ready to claim joy later if you are not quite ready now.

About your Process in the Fourth Week
Here is a suggestion for working with this week’s affirmations. Each time you act, ask yourself, "Am I in the consciousness of joy?" Of course, you "act" hundreds of times a day. It may seem unreasonable to you to consider asking yourself "Am I in the consciousness of joy?" hundreds of times a day. Yet, think about it…. you are asking yourself something, so you might as well enhance your awareness with questions such as, "Am I in the consciousness of joy?" Or, "How can I act in the consciousness of joy?" Some of the questions you ordinarily ask yourself may be disempowering, for example, "What have I done wrong this time?" Or neutral, for example, "I wonder who that is (on the phone or at the door)?" Or empowering, "Is this worthy of my attention?" Let the questions you ask yourself this week be about manifesting with joy.

About the Affirmations in the Fourth Week
Usually I find it easy to select the definitive affirmation for the week — or I make up a new one! This week challenges me because I love how most seem to embody so many of the aspects of the ideas of acting and claiming joy. So I select the one which represents an idea that I have experienced many folks are working on right now: "I draw a circle of joy to establish who I am." — the affirmation for June 26.

About Integrating/Embodying Affirmations and Joy
I love the idea of integrating learnings and experiences. I jokingly say that I developed this fifth category of affirmations because I had to do something with those remaining days of the month, but the truth is that this concept of integration is essential and not an afterthought. It is often missed. It is important to honor the in-breath as much as the out-breath. One aspect of the process of integration is to let go of anything you do not need during or after an experience while you keep, use, and experience what you desire.

About your Process in the Remaining Days
As you say "yes to joy" and open to let every situation be an opportunity for joy to express, give yourself permission to release any ideas that do not resonate for you. Be as specific as you can. At the same time you sort through the thoughts and feelings to release, allow your consciousness to embody all those thoughts and feelings you wish to keep. If you have been journaling about the affirmations or if you have completed other exercises, review those. Clean up your email files, etc.

Make this a powerful week-plus!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of June 15-21, Joy

June 15th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 3-Being/Intending Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy, Week 3, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! In this message, I’ll give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages or alters by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options on the navigation bar).

Remind yourself of your over-arching intention for joy. Your statement serves as an umbrella over the whole month’s exploration of joy. It is especially helpful to re-visit your over-arching intention as you work and play with this week’s Being and Intending Affirmations.

About Being/Intending Affirmations and Joy
"To be" and "to intend" are companion ideas, associated also with mission and purpose. It is from your being and your intending that you create and act. Next week, DailyAffirm focuses on doing, acting, claiming, and manifesting. This week, though, stay focused on the consciousness from which you act. Many people choose to go on spiritual retreats or vision quests or to engage in dream journaling or other kinds of inward exploration in order to understand more fully who they are or who they want to become. I advocate that you choose to (under)stand right where are.

About your Process in the Third Week
So, here’s the big question of the week: what is your life mission? If your immediate response is your job or career or role, my next question is: what is your life mission? Or I might vary the question and ask: What is your purpose for being on the planet? Or, who are you here to be? You are here in the context of a larger whole. You are here to do, certainly. But, who ARE you? Who are YOU? What is your higher purpose? If you are uncertain, let yourself accept the uncertainty. And return to the questions, who are you? What is your life mission? (Please note: answers to such questions need not be the same each time. As you keep asking yourself these questions, you will become more and more comfortable with a grand variety and richness of answers.) So, who are you? What is your life mission?

About the Affirmations in the Third Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for Joy it would be "I give my attention to joy so that it expands." The Universe is ever-expanding and this expansion is based on the focus of your (and our collective) attention.

Positive Affirmations for the Week of June 8-14, Joy

June 8th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 2-Receiving/Accepting Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy, Week 2, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! In this message, I’ll give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options on the navigation bar).

Remind yourself of your over-arching intention for Joy.

About Receiving/Accepting Affirmations and Joy
I am aware of the relief to finish releasing non-joy. It is also a JOY to release non-joy. There is a readiness for so many of the persons with whom I work to LIVE in joy. How about you? Are you ready to enjoy life? Acknowledge that joy is all around you and in you. Open to joy. Open and receive.

About Your Process in the Second Week
Do you remember when you were a little child? (We all are still children, of course, but that is another story.) Here is a scenario: It’s a rainy day in the country, a park, or the street. The rain is either warm and gentle or it is cool during a hot spell. You are five or six years old. With your mouth in a broad grin, you turn your face upward, eyes closed, tongue out. It tastes sooo good. It feels sooo good. You trust the rain. You are open.

I encourage you this week to identify an image that represents receiving goodness from the Universe. The image I have described in the above paragraph may resonate with you or not. Remember or create one that does. The more childlike, the better. Throughout the week if you notice that you are turning away from joy or that you have closed laughter or fun from your life, remember your image. Be a joyous child.

About the Affirmations in the Second Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent receiving and accepting for Joy, it would be "I accept (or receive) joy in all aspects of my life." Another affirmation also leaps out at me this week. It is the one for June 12: "Joy, you are my friend. Let’s play together!" Perhaps that is just because I am in a playful mood.

Make this a receptive week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of June 1-7, Joy

June 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy, Week 1, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the 1st week of June with the theme of Joy at DailyAffirm, which you may want to think of as deep happiness from within. In this message, I will give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (each service is slightly different).

About Your Over-arching Intention
If you have not already done so, please identify your over-arching intention for Joy. That is, develop a statement that guides you in the exploration and embodiment of Joy. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions just make an attempt. Keep it simple. You have 30 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your statement change and deepen. Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of Joy: *To know joy. *To resonate with the energy of joy. *To feel joy in each moment. *To stay in the consciousness of joy, regardless of the circumstances. *To be a place for joy to live.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Joy
The key idea this week is: what gets in the way of joy? Pain, for example, tends to block joy or distract you from joy. Fears and old, stuck emotions are the opposite of joy. Resistance makes joy inaccessible. As you clear non-joy from your energy field, you become more focused on the idea and the manifestation of joy. If you desire to have a beautiful garden, you remove the weeds and clutter. It is that simple. This week, prune non-joy. Fertilize the soil and the soul with the clippings. Life is a process. And in the next cycle, the process repeats.

About Your Process in the First Week
I recommend that you write this week’s affirmations. I have developed a process which is described in the book, Affirmations : A Pathway to Transformation" and in an article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment." As those who have been participating know, this article is posted at my Web site along with about 40 others, http://www.mhmail.com and then click on Articles by Jeanie.

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for Joy it would be the affirmation: "I rescind obsolete vows of struggle, sacrifice, and unworthiness. Angels lift this heaviness." I find that the baggage of ancient vows and beliefs tends to hold many individuals in a consciousness of bondage. The June 2 affirmation helps to dissolve the limitations.

Positive Affirmations for the Week of May 22-31, Trust

May 22nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 4-Acting/Claiming Affirmations, 5-Integrating/Embodying Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Trust, Week 4-Plus, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! This message serves as an overview for the acting and claiming affirmations of this fourth week and the integrating and embodying of the last three days of the month at DailyAffirm. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options at the bottom of the navigation bar).

About Acting/Claiming Affirmations and Trust
First of all, remember that "stop" and "silence" are also aspects of acting and claiming. I say this so that you do not interpret the affirmations this week as needing to be aggressive or noisy. Trust, itself, has a rather quiet energy — smooth, and calming. When you envision yourself or others acting with trust, you usually see confidence, assurance, peace. Trust is, first and foremost, an act of self-trust. When you trust yourself, you know when others are trustworthy.

About your Process in the Fourth Week
Since your "process" is about "how" you do things, you might want to focus on how you act when you trust. Observe yourself, for example, when you trust yourself or a situation or another person. . . How does this feel? How do you think about the objects of trust? How do you speak? How do you give your attention to something or someone? How do you show that you trust? Observe yourself, also, when you do not trust yourself or a situation or another person. . . How does this feel? How do your feelings connect with your thoughts? How do you speak? How do your actions, words, and thoughts align with your attention?

About the Affirmations in the Fourth Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for trust it would be "I let every act be an act of trust," the affirmation for May 27. When you know the truth of this affirmation, you learn about trust through everything you do.

About Integrating/Embodying Affirmations and Trust
Bless these remaining days of the month, days that allow you to integrate and embody the theme of trust. It is not so important that you learn something new, but that you know what you have learned in the deepest possible way. Breathe trust into your lungs and cells and muscles. Relax; reflect.

About your Process in the Remaining Days
If you have been writing about your experiences this month, you might want to review your notes. Anything that does not fit can be released. Relax and allow the integration to happen effortlessly. Rejoice in the consciousness of trust.

Make this a splendid week-plus!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of May 15-21, Trust

May 15th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 3-Being/Intending Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Trust, Week 3, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! In this message, I’ll give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options at the bottom of the navigation bar).

Remind yourself of your over-arching intention for trust.

About Being/Intending Affirmations and Trust
"To be or not to be. That is the question." These are famous words from Shakespeare’s "Hamlet," of course. Trusting that it is worthwhile to be alive in physical form is an issue that many persons face at some time in their lives. In the deepest time of non-trust, a tiny spark of light may be all that is needed to kindle your inner trust. Or you may be that spark of light for another who is ready to awaken from the darkness. This is a time of awakening! You have your own style of awakening — with a yawn or a grumble or a leap or one sleepy eye slowly opening. You must awaken in order to be who you are here on earth to be. Your acquired habits of do, do, do can put you firmly in the do-do. Activities that keep you from being authentic and fulfilled can be refocused with clear intention.

About your Process in the Third Week
This week, go deeper into the idea of your intention of trust. You can dabble on the surface and think about whether you trust this person or that idea or a decision you have made. Or you can go deeper and live with the ideas that relate to self-trust. Or you can go still deeper and explore Trust in Self and the Divine. I challenge you to go to the core of Trust. If you were to live with the definitive question related to Trust and Being/Intending, it is "Who am I?" This is a question you can ask yourself hundreds of times a day, yielding a different and viable answer to each iteration.

About the Affirmations in the Third Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for Trust it would be the affirmation for May 19: "I remember to trust. I trust myself. I remember who I Am." These three sentences help us to connect more deeply with the true meaning of trust and our personal mission.

Make this a meaningful week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of May 8-14, Trust

May 8th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 2-Receiving/Accepting Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Trust, Week 2, Weekly Messages No Comments »

About Receiving/Accepting Affirmations and Trust
Trust is closely related to safety. If you feel safe, you are more likely to trust. If you feel safe and trusting, it is easier to open. Sometimes you may be required to step into a void and pretend that you are trusting when you do not really feel trusting. When you do this, the feeling of trust can more naturally follow because you have imagined and practiced the feeling.

About Your Process in the Second Week
How can you open to trust when you do not feel safe and/or trusting? Here is a worthy question for you to ponder from time to time through the week. Notice when you naturally feel safe and trusting. Notice your thoughts and beliefs; notice your feelings and sensations. Become aware. You may find it helpful to develop a vertical number scale — a Trust Thermometer — so that you can determine more easily how you feel and/or think. For example, you might assign "-10" at the bottom to the idea of "total distrust" and "+10" at the top to the idea of "total trust," with various levels of distrust and trust as gradations between. As you become more and more aware, you will find it easier to trust yourself to trust a situation or another person. If your inner prompting says "be still," be still. If your inner prompting says "act," act. Trust yourself.

About the Affirmations in the Second Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent receiving and accepting for Trust it would be the affirmation for May 10: "I allow trust to flow through me. I accept the truth from a higher Source." The higher Source, of course, is right inside you; it flows through you; it is you.

Make this an ACCEPTional week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of May 1-7, Trust

May 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Trust, Week 1, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the 1st week of May with the theme of Trust at DailyAffirm, which you may want to immediately re-designate "Self-trust." In this message, I will give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily reminders by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options on the navigation bar).

About Your Over-arching Intention
If you have not already done so, please identify your over-arching intention for Trust. That is, develop a statement that guides you in the exploration and embodiment of trust. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions emerge. If you are uncertain how to write this intention, just make an attempt. Keep it simple. You have 31 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your statement change and deepen. Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of Trust: *To experience the world as a trusting place. *To resonate with the consciousness of trust. *I am trust, trusting, and trustworthy. *To trust myself. *To be a place for trust to thrive.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Trust
It is possible (although by no means certain) that as you are releasing and cleansing this week, energies / emotions / thoughts of the opposite of trust might appear: for example, distrust, mistrust, broken trust. To this dynamic I say: trust the process! The process is working. To live in a state of trust you must also know how to recognize distrust, mistrust, broken trust, or other resistance.

Consider this. You meet someone for the first time. You immediately feel distrusting. Where does this distrust come from? The several possibilities are: from you, from that person, from the environment / situation / others, from all or any combination of these. You are not responsible for the trust / distrust / mistrust that someone else carries in his or her energy field, nor do you need to fully understand it in the specific situation. You are, however, responsible for your own trust / distrust / mistrust because you will connect with others who are similar in their relationship to trust. Put your attention on self-trust and everything else will find its rightful place.

About Your Process in the First Week
As you proceed through these first seven days of May, I suggest that you pay particular attention to how you and others use the word "trust." Just notice and learn about the consciousness of trust by the way the word is used to represent this consciousness. It is the consciousness that is more meaningful than the word chosen to represent the consciousness.

I recommend that you write one or more of this week’s affirmations. I have developed a process which is described in the book, "Affirmations: A Pathway to
Transformation" and in an article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment."

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for Trust it would be the affirmation for May 1: I give myself permission to release fear and anger from every level of the energy field, with effortless grace. You may prefer to use words other than "fear" and "anger." Choose words that are most relevant to your own needs.

Make this a wondrous week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of April 22-30, Clarity

April 22nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 4-Acting/Claiming Affirmations, 5-Integrating/Embodying Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity, Week 4-Plus, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! This message serves as an overview for the acting and claiming affirmations of this fourth week and the integrating and embodying of the last three days of the month. Read the information on the sidebars for additional information. The messages will be here for you Day by Day. Check in as often as you want; participate in the ways that are appropriate for you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options on the navigation bar).

About Acting/Claiming Affirmations and Clarity
To act with clarity is powerful when you acknowledge divine clarity. If you believe you know who is right and wrong and who is bad and good, this is not divine clarity, but self righteousness. A clear and high intention sets the foundation for actions that are clear and rewarding. Every action you take is an opportunity for personal development and empowerment. More important, every action is an opportunity for joy and further clarity.

About your Process in the Fourth Week
Each day this week, you may want to become more conscious of each action in these ways: (1) Set an intention for the action; (2) Write down the intention; (3) Be fully present in the action; (4) Reflect on the action afterward to determine if what you manifested was in alignment with the original intention; (5) Be good to yourself while you are learning as well as after mastering this process.

About the Affirmations in the Fourth Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for clarity it would be “I let every act be an act of clarity” which is the affirmation for April 27. It associates the idea of clarity with everything that you do.

About Integrating/Embodying Affirmations and Clarity
These two days, following the four weeks of April, present an opportunity to integrate the ideas about clarity that you wish to take with you on the rest of your journey. Anything that does not fit, leave alone. If you try to take on something that you cannot assimilate, you will make the releasing work of the beginning of May more difficult. Trust yourself to know what works for you.

About your Process in the Remaining Days
You may find it helpful to identify some of the affirmations that stood out as particularly meaningful to you this month. If you have kept a journal, you will reinforce and therefore further integrate the ideas by reviewing your journal entries. Rereading selected messages for this month will assist you in embodying the concepts.

Make this a powerful week-plus!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of April 15-21, Clarity

April 16th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 3-Being/Intending Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity, Week 3, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! In this message, I’ll give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or, simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options at the bottom of the navigation bar).

About Being/Intending Affirmations and Clarity
As you know, I recommend at the beginning of each month that you create or identify an over-arching intention for the theme. Here in the middle of the month, we explore intention more deeply. "To intend" and "to be" are similar, but not precisely the same — which is why I slash them. It is wise to explore intention and being before acting and claiming and more meaningful to do so after emptying (Releasing/Cleansing) and opening to be filled anew (Receiving/Accepting). However, there is no wrong time to tap into your intention or deepen your relationship to it.

About your Process in the Third Week
I have found that folks who really want to learn about intention are greatly supported by writing statements of intention for simple, ordinary events in their lives. Say, for example, you have a meeting next Thursday which you believe may be challenging. In the past, this group has had tedious meetings with little accomplished. So, you set a high intention for the meeting and write it down: "To experience open communication and clear direction for the highest good for all." Watch your meeting change! Please note: setting high intention is not a technique, but a powerful principle. Writing down the high intention is a technique. Please also note: you may want to establish goals and outcomes for events in addition to your high intention. The intention is the consciousness in which you are present at the meeting; goals and outcomes are related to the actions of the meeting.

I find that folks who really want to learn about being are greatly supported by various forms of meditation and relaxation, depending on their life style. Many like to go to the mountain top or the deep woods for solitude or to listen deeply to their inner guidance. These are great approaches and it is important to be and to intend in the midst of an ordinary day.

About the Affirmations in the Third Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for clarity it would be "My intention is to be clear for the highest good of all." It is clear and straightforward.

Be this week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of April 8-14, Clarity

April 8th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 2-Receiving/Accepting Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity, Week 2, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! In this message, I’ll give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or, simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options on the navigation bar).

About Receiving/Accepting Affirmations and Clarity
This week’s affirmations are focused on opening to clarity. You receive or accept with the same consciousness in which you give, so this week look at both giving and receiving, and the accompanying attitudes. Examples of receiving are: meditation, relaxing at the beach, having a massage, listening to a friend. Examples of giving are: writing a payment check to the electric company, giving a special item wrapped in colorful paper to Grandma, expressing a compliment. Receiving is receiving. Giving is giving. Also, giving is receiving; receiving is giving. The package is merely the vehicle for your consciousness. The consciousness of love and peace and abundance can permeate all your experiences — giving, receiving, starting, stopping, emptying out, acting, integrating, etc.

About your Process in the Second Week
When I think of the concept of "opening" I often think of a child in a gentle rainstorm with arms and face upward, with an open heart and total trust in the universe. Sometimes this picture includes movement, like a dance; sometimes it is more like a still photo. Always, it is joyful. Your picture may vary from mine, but here is the key question: What is the consciousness of your receiving and accepting? I encourage you to pay special attention to your consciousness during this week.

About the Affirmations in the Second Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent receiving and accepting for clarity it would be the affirmation for April 13: "I accept clarity, peace, and order in all aspects of my life." It is simple, yet expansive.

Make this an ACCEPTional week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of April 1-7, Clarity

April 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity, Week 1, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the 1st week of April with the theme of Clarity, a very special theme. In this message, I will give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or, simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (see the navigation bar).

About Your Over-arching Intention
If you have not already done so, please identify your over-arching intention for Clarity. That is, develop a statement that guides you in theexploration and embodiment of clarity. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions emerge. If you are uncertain how to write this intention, just make an attempt. Keep it simple. You have 30 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your statement change and deepen. Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of Clarity:

  • To realize clarity on all levels of my being.
  • To hold the consciousness of clarity.
  • I am clear.
  • To experience the clarity of a pure crystal.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Clarity
During this first week, let go of non-clarity, barriers to clarity, and resistance. So, empty out sludge, erase confusion, release toxicity, cleanse distortions, etc. You may know precisely what you are releasing (e.g., an old relationship, poverty consciousness, fear of the unknown) or you may just know in a general way what you are releasing (fears, doubts, unnecessary stuff). It does not benefit you to be overly preoccupied with releasing, just catch the concept of letting go of resistance and give your attention to clarity and other dynamics you wish to experience in your life.

About Your Process in the First Week
As you work with your chosen affirmation(s) this week, be aware of your own unique process of letting go. If you have any discomfort (some folks do, some do not), immediately re-frame it as a healing, clearing, or purification. If you stop to try to dissect what you are releasing, you slow down your process. It is helpful to release the need to understand everything! This is a very good week to empty out closets and desk drawers and files — anything that gets in the way of clear focus.

I recommend that you write this week’s affirmation(s). I have developed a process which is described in the book, Affirmations: A Pathway to Transformation and in an article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment."

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for clarity it would be the first sentence of the affirmation for April 1: "I give myself permission to release toxicity easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." I have given this affirmation to many, many clients in individual sessions and workshops for profound results.

Make this a meaningful week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of March 22-31, Balance

March 22nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 4-Acting/Claiming Affirmations, 5-Integrating/Embodying Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance, Week 4-Plus, Weekly Messages No Comments »

About Acting/Claiming Affirmations and Balance
Since everything is constantly in a state of change, it is important to be cognizant of balance when you are moving as well as when you are still. Whether you are moving from the inside to the outside, from outside to inside, from higher to lower, or from lower to higher, tap into your desire to to achieve balance. Act from balance; act in balance; act to balance; act as balance.

About your Process in the Fourth Week
Think of balance as an energy that fuels your thoughts, feelings, and actions. During this week, you may wish to focus on one specific priority in your life to direct the flow of balance. Keep your focus on both balance and the priority, and you cannot fail to achieve balance. Put your attention elsewhere and you fuel that other thing. Balance. Priority. Balance. Priority. Balance. Priority.

About the Affirmations in the Fourth Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for balance it would be the affirmation for March 27: “I let every act be an act of balance. I act from deep integrity.” This keeps the attention on both actions and balance (the week’s process and this month’s theme respectively) as well as integrity.

About Integrating/Embodying Affirmations and Balance
Let this week’s affirmations support you in reflecting on the month’s exploration of balance. Every situation can teach you about balance. Say Yes! to balance today and every day. You do not need to wait for any particular event or circumstance to change. Acknowledge balance right now.

About your Process in the Remaining Days
Select your special techniques for embodying and integrating ideas, feelings, and experiences. For example: journaling, reflecting on highlights, reviewing the previous DailyAffirm messages and any exercises you may have done with the affirmations. As you meditate on balance, reflect on the whole month and weed out anything on your desk or computer that makes you feel imbalanced, indecisive, or overloaded.

Make this a wonderful week-plus!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of March 15-21, Balance

March 15th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 3-Being/Intending Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance, Week 3, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings! This message is an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options at the bottom of the navigation bar).

Remind yourself of your over-arching intention for balance.

About Being/Intending Affirmations and Balance
This week’s affirmations support balance in your life by going into the consciousness of your intention. “To be or not to be” is a much-quoted line from one of our greatest writers. You must know who you are and know who you are becoming. It is also helpful to know who you are not and who you are not becoming when that leads you to clarify who you are. In any given moment you may feel that you are unbalanced or dissonant or indecisive, which is the perfect time to affirm your intention to become balanced, to become balance.

About your Process in the Third Week
What is your intention for balance? What is your intention for this week with respect to balance? What is the most empowering thing you can do/say about the aspect of your life that most challenges you? Who are you? Who are you becoming? As you ponder these questions, consider also how you feel about the idea of balancing your life from the inside to the outside. As you let go of others’ perceptions and opinions, consider the power of the balance of One, a balance which transcends duality.

About the Affirmations in the Third Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent being and intending for Balance it would be the affirmation for March 20: “I understand the meaning of balance. I know that balance transcends duality.” Duality on the earth plane is a method of evolving. This week, transcend duality so that you feel whole right here and right now.

Make this a balanced week!

Positive Affirmations for the Week of March 1-7, Balance

March 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance, Week 1, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the 1st week of March with the theme of Balance, an often under-rated concept. In this message, I will give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or, simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options at the bottom of the navigation bar).

About Your Over-arching Intention
If you have not already done so, please identify your over-arching intention for balance. That is, develop a statement that guides you in the exploration and embodiment of balance. You may also want to write or look up the definition of balance. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions emerge. If you are uncertain how to write this intention, just make an attempt. Keep it simple. You have 31 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your statement change and deepen.

Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of balance:

  • To live in constant awareness of synchronicity.
  • To experience divine balance and harmony.
  • To know that I am always in the right place at the right time.
  • To realize balance in all aspects of my life.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Balance
This week’s affirmations are designed to support you in letting go of imbalances in all parts of your life. Release, forgive, let go, purify, neutralize, dissolve, cut through, and cleanse anything that gets in the way of experiencing balance. Move your attention away from disharmony, half-truths, imbalance, injustice, lies, distortions, indecisions, and limitations that have become a familiar part of your life. Align with the divine as you release anything that is impure or out of alignment.

About Your Process in the First Week
For this month’s exploration of balance, you may want to identify a specific issue or condition in your life in which you wish to experience balance. It will be most meaningful for you if you select something that you experience regularly, such as the balance of work and play, or balance in food choices, or balance in a particular relationship. If you have been feeling stressed, you might choose to experience calmness or evenness in your life on a daily basis. Or perhaps you desire to undo a lie or half-truth. Or perhaps you choose to establish a goal of harmony in one of your relationships.

I recommend that you write this week’s affirmations, if such an approach appeals to you. I have developed a process which is described in the book, “Affirmations: A Pathway to Transformation” and in the article entitled, “Writing Affirmations for Empowerment.” This article is posted at my Web site along with 40 others, http://www.mhmail.com and then click on “Articles by Jeanie.”

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for Balance it would be the affirmation for March 2: “I rescind old vows of struggle and limitation. Angels are with me as half-truths, lies, and distortions drop from my attention.” This affirmation clarifies the work that needs to be done to bring much of your thinking and beliefs into harmony and balance. It is a matter of attention.

Make this a clear week!
