When One Door Closes Another Door Opens

June 1st, 2009 Remez Sasson Posted in attitude, open doors, opportunities, success No Comments »

“When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.”
-Alexander Graham Bell-

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one, which has been opened for us.
-Helen Keller-

These two quotes are so true!
People are too often attached to the past, to what they are familiar with, and therefore miss opportunities that stand right in front of them. Doors may close, but there are always unlimited numbers of doors - new opportunities. The world is full of opportunities, if we could only see them. The Infinite Power is infinite, and so the possibilities are without number.

Not every plan works out, there are losses and failures, there are problems in relationships, loss of money or job, sometimes unpleasant things happen. We don’t always have control over these happenings, but we can exercise control over our attention and attitude. When one of these things happens and we focus our attention on the loss - the closed door, we see only a closed door with the resultant frustration and unhappiness, but if we could only move our sight and attention away from the closed door, we might be surprised to discover a row of open new doors.

It might not be so easy to move our eyes elsewhere due various reasons, such as attachment to the old and familiar, and fear of the new and the unknown.

Eliminating The Word “Failure” From Your Vocabulary

April 25th, 2009 europaabby Posted in Dreams, Law of Attraction, Manifesting Abundance, eliminating failure, focus, life of your dreams, metaphysics, success, the rich No Comments »

What if there were no such word as “failure”? What if there were no such thing AS a “failure”? What if this word never came into existence? Would you already be successful? Would you already live the life of your dream? Our vocabulary contains some of the most life damaging words possible, “failure”, “poverty”, “lack”, “can’t” and all of these words hinder your potential on a mental level and ultimately hinder your ability to manifest what it is that you desire.

Do you think The Rich have this word in their vocabulary? They do not. This word, if uttered aloud, is as irritating as nails on a blackboard because The Rich focus only on success. They do not think of what will happen if they do not accomplish their goals. The Rich are ambitious and goal driven. If The Rich have no food, they will live on the idea of accomplishing obtaining food. The Rich live off of their ambition and the attainment of their desires. The word “failure” is not in The Rich’s vocabulary.

The question to ask now is, “How do we eliminate the word failure from our vocabulary?” We must begin by STARTING to approach everything we do with the mindset that THERE IS ONLY SUCCESS. You must believe that you cannot fail in any of your endeavours. You must know that whatever conclusion you have arrived at was the most successful conclusion for you at this time, with your current level of comprehension. You will only achieve at the level of your current mental capabilities. We can use the old adage, “Everything happens for a reason”. We know this to be true because in Metaphysics we are taught that nothing happens by chance or accident. As your mental powers and skilfulness grow, so will your achievements.

Once you begin to resonate and “do” as The Rich, you will not have to focus on your words or monitor your thoughts as you will already have aligned yourself subconsciously to success and your manifestations will become exact and fluid. You must edit your vocabulary so that it describes the type of life you would like to live. You must replace the negative vocabulary with positive words. Add words to your vocabulary that portray the image and lifestyle of your dreams-words and titles like - “intelligent”, “creative”, “multi-millionaire”, “billionaire”, “successful”, “inventor”, “creator”, and “CEO”, will begin to plant positive seeds in your mind causing you to imagine or visualise these words in context. Visualisation and your imagination are two of your most powerful tools in manifesting. These tools are to your success as money is to The Rich. Increase your vocabulary with powerful words that will help you think correctly and you will eliminate the word “failure” from your vocabulary.

Clarity of Purpose and How to Develop It

April 3rd, 2009 Remez Sasson Posted in Goal Setting, clarity, goals, purpose, success No Comments »

Clarity of purpose is important for the achievement of success and for making dreams come true. Your dream or goal must be specific and clear and not not something vague. While it’s fun to dream about being rich and successful, you have to know and define what you really and truly want to get or achieve. Clarity of purpose is important for any success, for losing weight, getting a new car or travelling abroad. If you don’t know exactly what you want, how can you get it?

When there is clarity of purpose you know what steps to take. With clarity of purpose you focus on the goal, without wasting time or energy. Clarity of purpose is like focusing a strong source of light on your goal, so that you see it clearly.

Developing clarity of purpose

Here are a few tips to help developing clarity of purpose.

  1. Know what you want.
  2. Investigate why you want to achieve your goal, and what you will gain by achieving it.
  3. Be certain that you really want to achieve your goal.
  4. Read and learn about your goal.
  5. See pictures about your goal.
  6. Visualize your goal clearly.
  7. In your mind, see all the details.
  8. Be specific as to color, size, quantity, shape, place, etc, of what you want to get or accomplish.
  9. Learn to focus your mind on your goal.
  10. Remove clutter from your life.
  11. Display perseverance and some self discipline in your life.

The Secret of Having Everything You Want

March 23rd, 2009 Guest Author Posted in Healing, Law of Attraction, Life, ego, reality, right place at the right time, soul, success, true nature, true purpose, unhappiness, wisdom No Comments »

Everyone wonders whether or not there is one great secret for truly successful living. There is. And it is not a secret. It has been quietly, steadily telling itself right in front of us all along. We just couldn’t hear it over the clatter and chatter of our own secret demands. Listen quietly for a moment. Everything can change right now. Learning to hear this supreme secret is no more difficult than choosing whether to swim against a current or to let it carry you safely to the shore. Let it speak its wisdom to that secret part of you that can not only hear what it is saying but that is, in reality, its very voice. Listen to it now. It is saying, “Want What Life Wants.” Think about it. Locked within these four simple words is the secret of an uncompromising power for effortless living; a new kind of power that never fails to place you on the winning side of any situation. Why? Because when you want what Life wants, your wish is for Life itself.

“What if I don’t like what life brings to me?”

“Try to see that it is not what life has brought to you that you don’t like. It is your reactions that turn the gift of life into the resentment of it.”

“I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but speaking plainly, I’m tired of being unhappy. What difference does it make why I feel this way?”

“Because these unhappy feelings are born out of life failing to conform to your ideas of what you need to be happy. This shows you, if you will see it, that Life itself isn’t denying you happiness. It is your ideas about life that have failed you. Give up these wrong ideas instead of giving up on life. Be increasingly willing to see they are nothing but a constant source of conflict. Your false nature will tell you that you must have these self-protecting ideas; that you can’t live without them or you will lose something valuable. What you must do, in spite of any such protest to the contrary, is to see that you can’t live with them. All you will lose is your unhappiness.”

Here are two lists that will not only make these life-healing ideas more personal for you, but they will help you to help yourself make a higher choice when it comes to what you really want from life. It would be valuable to study then compare the lists to each other. You may wish to add to either list some of your own insights, which I highly encourage you to do.

Let’s look at what happens “When You Want What You Want”:

1. You are often nervous and anxious because life may not cooperate with your plans.

2. You are willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to get what you want, and this may include your integrity.

3. You are usually scheming in some way to win your next victory.

4. You are either in a battle or recovering from one.

5. You are unable to rest quietly when you need to.

6. You are easily angered when someone or something gets in your way.

7. You are forever driven to want something else.

8. You are against anyone else who also wants what you want.

9. You are certain that what you have is who you are.

10. You are always trying to convince yourself that you got what you want.

Now carefully consider the following. “When You Want What Life Wants”:

1. You are never disappointed with what happens.

2. You are always in the right place at the right time.

3. You are quietly confident no matter what the circumstances.

4. You are out of the reach of anger and anxiety.

5. You are awake and sensitive to your surroundings.

6. You are free of ever feeling as though you’ve missed out.

7. You are never thrown for a loss.

8. You are in total command of events.

9. You are mentally quiet.

10. You are eternally grateful.

“Is there a simple guideline to follow when it comes to distinguishing between what Life wants and what I want? How can I easily tell which is which?”

“Always remember the following. If any want is the source of anxiety or sorrow, that want is yours and not Life’s. If the want has pain, it is in vain. To let real Life flood in, pull yourself out of the flood of self-wants that promise a future pleasure but only deliver a present pain.”

“How do I pull myself out of the flood of my own wants?”

“See that you are being washed away by them and you will grow tired of being bounced along. Here is a key. Never accept the presence of any mental or emotional suffering as necessary, no matter how much importance these impostors lend to a particularly pressing want. By refusing their dark presence, you make space for the present moment to give you its indefinable presence. This is where the Life that you want — and that wants you — is waiting.”

“All of what you have said makes good sense. To tell the truth, I would like to let go and let Life lead, but I’m afraid. What will happen to me if I give up my demands? Won’t I lose control of my life?”

“You cannot lose control of something you never had control over in the first place. No human being controls life — his or hers or anyone else’s. If it weren’t for higher cosmic energies coming down, filling and animating your body right now, you couldn’t be holding this book in your hands or reading its words. If you want to measure the level of an individual’s stress, measure his insistence that life does as he wants. The only thing you will lose by learning to want what life wants is your fear of not being in control — which was never real control in the first place but only the sensation of it born out of living with its painful opposite.”

Here is the most important point of all. No human being needs control over life because, in reality, no one is apart from it. Who you really are, your True Nature, is not separate from life.

Let Life bring you itself. Welcome it. At each instant, it is new, full — untouched and undiminished by any moment before it. To enter into this full relationship with Life is to give yourself to your Self. Fulfilling the true purpose of Life is fulfilling yourself. Here are five special key lessons to help you want what Life wants.

1. Nothing can be released and resisted at the same time, which means that any attempt to reject some weakness detected in us is the same as protecting it.

2. True nobility is not a question of birth right or social rank; it is the native estate of each soul that, upon awakening to its divine inheritance, knows the strength of these twin truths without having to think about them: justice and mercy are one, as are love and fearlessness.

3. Nothing judges you; it is what you love — and that love alone — that either persecutes you, or stands by you in your hour of need.

4. Whoever serves what he or she fears has failed to see that all they win for their service is to become more fearful.

5. We can spend our time struggling, in vain, to make others into what we want them to be, or we can see the inherent flaw in thinking this way and — rather than trying to change others to suit our needs — see through the false idea that someone else is responsible for our fulfillment.

5-Minute Meditation: Flower of Change

March 16th, 2009 Guest Author Posted in Meditation, Visualize, consciousness, flowing, giving, gratitude, living your dream, peace, success No Comments »

Take a moment alone and settle into your body. Close your eyes, relax and breathe… deeply, slowly.

Visualize yourself walking through the woods. Glistening, new-fallen snow carpets the trail beneath your feet. Breathe in the cool air and feel it refreshing you.

Exhale slowly, letting all your worries out with your breath. Spirit is with you and you are expanding your consciousness to take in the life-giving love that Spirit wants to share with you.

Up ahead, you see a beautiful, golden wildflower, standing tall, growing right in the middle of the snow. There is a glorious, warm, loving light beaming out from this amazing flower.

As you step closer to this flower you feel its light permeating you, and you feel lighter, like a weight has lifted. The purest love is flowing all through your entire body, energizing you.

Now think of something you’d like to change in your life. Imagine yourself experiencing this change in total harmony, success coming to you with incredible ease. See yourself celebrating your success. Feel the fulfillment, the joy, the peace that comes from living your dream. Take it all in. Let yourself bask in the glow of this feeling and continue breathing.

When you feel ready, give gratitude to your golden wildflower in the snow for its light and for helping you bring this wonderful change to fruition.

Walking back through the woods, you see that same loving light beaming out from you, too. Extend this light to everyone you meet.

Open your eyes, stretch and return to your day, renewed and energized.

A Better Life Starts in the Mind

March 7th, 2009 Remez Sasson Posted in Positive Thinking, mind, negative thinking, success No Comments »

It is difficult to stay positive, when you lose your job and lose your money. At such a time, it is so easy to fall prey to negative thinking and imagining more disasters. Yet, it is at this time that positive thinking becomes so important.

If you let your thoughts become negative, if you feel despair, will this help you in any way? Absolutely not! You may say that the world conditions have changed and you can do nothing about it. You may say you are too old, or too inexperienced to get a new job, and that new jobs are sparse and hard to get. All this might be true, but there have always people who became successful even in difficult times.

You limit yourself by your thoughts, ideas and beliefs. Thoughts can be like shackles, tying you to the ground, and they can be like wings, taking you far away. It is your choice. A better life starts in the mind.

You might not be able to change you circumstances and the world around you, but you can change your inner, mental world. You can choose your thoughts, you can refuse to feel pity for yourself and picture problems and disasters, and you can fill your mind with positive thoughts and mental images.

All changes start in the mind, and you therefore need to change the way you think in order to improve your life. If you keep thinking about your current situation, of having no job and no money, you will get more despondent and unhappy and see more problems, because you focus on them, and do nothing to get out of this situation.

Getting to Know Your Higher Self -Why Does That Matter in Life?

February 19th, 2009 Guest Author Posted in Life, Robert Paisola, consciousness, ego, goals, happy list, higher self, motivational, passion, professional life, success No Comments »

What is it that makes us human? Speech, consciousness, opposable thumbs? Yes, all that. But what also makes us human is the belief in a Higher Self. The Higher Self inhabits a spiritual dimension beyond the material plane.

This Higher Self’s quest is not necessarily antithetical to the quest for success in the material world. Some of the most successful people share an elevated consciousness. Whether this is the reason for or the consequence of their success depends on the person.

Being in touch with our higher selves gives us the ability to commune with the sublime. Do not be a stranger to your Higher Self. Give your Higher Self a name and seek out his/her advice. Don’t let your ego block this powerful technique for accessing inspired visions. Give your Higher Self a chance to speak, and you may get the answers to your most perplexing problems.

Somewhere inside yourself is the true you—the part that represents what you want most, the part that is your inner hero.

Try this exercise: write your own version of “How to Be Happy.” List the things that you have learned in your personal and professional life. What you will come up with is a list of values and goals.

After the writing exercise, take some time to visualize your Higher Self. Imagine stepping outside of your physical body and taking a look at the real you. See your Higher Self.

The Higher Self can speak to you through your physical body. You’re upset, and you feel nauseous. You are tired, so you want to sleep. If your heart beats in fear or your knees shake, or you have recurrent dreams or nightmares, the self may be trying to talk to you! The self may be telling you that the emotional air you are breathing is toxic. It’s time to take action!

The Higher Self whispers while the ego SHOUTS. The more busy-work, chatter, or other meaningless distractions interfere with your ability to hear the internal message, the harder it will be to make the choices that lead to a oneness with your Higher Self.

Daydreams Can Come True

January 31st, 2009 Remez Sasson Posted in daydreams, success No Comments »

After daydreaming about something that you would like to come true, do you destroy this daydream, by telling yourself that is just a daydream and it would never come true? Do you make negative comments about your daydreams and trash them away as being just impractical fantasies?

Daydreams can come true, if you make no negative comments about them and truly desire and believe they can come true. Do not destroy the daydream by denying it the possibility of materializing, even if there is a wide gap between it and your actual life.

Be careful of what you daydream. It might come true if you really believe and desire it. Do not daydream about what you don’t really want to happen, but only about what you truly desire.

- Learn how to make your daydreams come true! -

How Can We Make Our Loved Ones Positive?

November 23rd, 2008 Remez Sasson Posted in positive, success No Comments »

Here is a question a visitor to the website has asked me:
“How can we make our loved ones to be positive, successful and hardworking in life?”

Answer: I believe that we have to be an example to what we want to teach and preach. If we try to be more positive, tolerant, patient, hardworking and happy, the people around us will be affected by the way we think and behave, and without being aware, would adopt this attitude too.

If we want to make our loved ones positive, we have first to be so ourselves.

We may also talk with the people close to us about self improvement or spiritual growth, and offer them simple techniques or suggest books to read, but this should be done gradually, patiently, and without being too insistent and obvious, so as to avoid resistance.

Abundance and Prosperity Start in Your Mind

October 21st, 2008 Remez Sasson Posted in abundance, financial condition, prosperity, success No Comments »

The thoughts you focus on have a great impact on your financial condition and your prospects of obtaining abundance and prosperity.

Though current national or international situations can affect your financial condition, yet, if you choose your thoughts wisely, and focus only on what you really want, you can achieve success and improve your financial conditions even in rough times.

The power that brings you success or failure, prosperity and abundance or poverty resides in your mind, and not in Wall Street or current market conditions.

You can still make money and enjoy life regardless of what’s happening in the economy. All you need is learn to focus your mind unswervingly on your goals, on positive results, and on positive outcome.

Sadly, many people waste their time and energy letting their mind be ruled by outside sources, the press, TV, current world conditions, and what other people say and do.

You waste and weaken your mind power, motivation and confidence when you listen too much to the news, especially negative economic news.

I’m not telling you to ignore economic and financial news. That would be an irresponsible act.

I am suggesting that you understand the state of economy and prepare yourself for any condition, but don’t dwell too much on what you hear or read. Listen and read the news, but in a detached manner, without letting them affect your state of mind, and regardless how difficult this might. Stay positively focused on your goals and plans, and what you focus on will eventually grow and come to pass.

Don’t let bad economic news be an excuse to think negatively, complain and get despondent. Be careful with what you think and feed your mind, otherwise you might inadvertently let bad economic news become self-fulfilling prophecy.

Overcome bad economic conditions with the power of creative visualization. Learn how to feed your mind with mental images of success, and how to stay positive and motivated.

The State of Economy and Positive Attitude

October 5th, 2008 Remez Sasson Posted in economy, positive attitude, success No Comments »

It is a well-known fact that when the state of economy is good, one has a satisfying and well paying steady job, one feels good and tends to be happier and more relaxed.

On the other hand, when the state of the economy looks bleak and unpromising, and one is jobless and lacks money, there is a tendency to think and feel negative about everything. There is no happiness and no inner peace.

Examine people’s attitude toward anything, and you will discover that is very much affected by circumstances and situations. It is so easy to accept negative thoughts in harsh circumstances and see everything crumbling down.

If your life now is not what you want it to be, and you constantly think how bad the situation is, you keep hammering these thoughts into your subconscious mind. This makes you believe that there is no way out. Your inability to stop thinking and focusing on your current situation makes it look worse than it really is, stifles creativity and initiative, draws negative thinking and self pity, and increases the chances of making reality much worse.

Being negative, crying over what you have lost and expecting lack and difficulties will not make things better.

The secret of change and improvement is a change of attitude!

Your positive attitude can change your financial condition, in spite of national or global economic conditions.

Acquiring a positive attitude is most important, even if it might not be so easy when your job is at risk, or when don’t have a job. You have to act as the gatekeeper of your mind and refuse entrance to thoughts about self-pity, failure and lack, and let in only thoughts about success and growth.

You might say that it is like cheating yourself, but it looks this way only in the beginning. Before long, your subconscious mind will accept the new reality you are creating in your mind, and will work overtime to make it be true, if only you let it, and don’t revert to negative and pessimistic thinking.

Negative thinking and Failure

June 13th, 2008 Remez Sasson Posted in Positive Thinking, negative thinking, success No Comments »

Negative thinking is an obstacle to happiness, improvement and success. It causes laziness, low self-esteem and unhappiness, and is the number one reason for failure.

In her book, Slimming Starts in the Mind, Dorina Sasson addresses the problem of negative thinking, and provides solutions and advice on how to substitute negative thinking with positive thinking. Here is an excerpt from her book, where she writes about negative thinking and failure:

Negative thinking anticipates failure

I am sure that you are familiar with the term “Negative thinking”. It is a mental attitude of dwelling on negative thoughts, and letting fear, lack and worries run your life.

People who are prone to negative thinking use phrases such as:
· Nothing comes easy in life.
· It is too good to be true.
· This good cannot last long, something will eventually go wrong.

· I will apply for a better position, but I have no chance of getting it.
· Why bother, it’s in my genes to fail.
· I am not talented enough to win this scholarship.

· I would never be able to afford myself a trip to Paris.
· Living in a fancy house will always be just a dream.
· I may as well get used to what I have, because it won’t get any better.

If you anticipate misfortune, failure and disappointment, you will most probably refrain from taking any initiative and action, in order to avoid possible negative results. However, if you choose to be passive and take no action, you deprive yourself the chance of gaining success.

The tendency to negative thinking is not something one is born with; it is usually acquired from a negatively oriented environment, and is often transferred on from parents to children. Luckily, through awareness and training, one can learn to think in a positive manner, and consider failure, as a temporary step on the ladder to success.

The Success Industry

June 10th, 2008 Remez Sasson Posted in Affirmations, success, visualization No Comments »

The success industry has turned into a huge machine, creating a growing number of books, videos, audios and workshops, all promising big and quick success, without any effort. All these products create a sense of euphoria, great expectations, and often, also frustration. The producers of many of these products make great promises, and tell you that all you need to succeed is just a little of your time. Sometimes all you have to do is just repeat a few affirmations or visualize a goal a few minutes a day, and you will soon enjoy great success and the fulfillment of your dreams.

Can this be true? Does everyone who reads the book, listens to the video or participates in the workshop become a great success? In spite of all these products and promises, how many really succeed? How many really successful people are, in relation to the entire population?

Don’t misunderstand me. I believe in the power of the mind. I have written articles and books on this subject, but I also believe in common sense and in being practical. Creative visualization and the law of attraction are useful tools that work when used correctly, and there are good and useful books and other products available. I am speaking here about the growing tendency of making great promises and the tendency to oversimplify things.

I am sure you have bought and read more than one book, audio or video about achieving success. How many have read the book, listened to the audio or watching the video they have bought, and more important, how many have followed and implemented the instructions? Focus on the Positive

May 22nd, 2008 Remez Sasson Posted in positive, success No Comments »

In every bad situation there is always something good. You can focus on the good or you can focus on the bad. It is your choice.

You can focus on the hole in the doughnut, and you can focus on the doughnut itself. You can focus on the empty half of the glass, and you focus on the full half of the glass. This is a matter of attitude and choice, but can affect your moods and state of mind.

Do you sometimes feel at the end of the day that you have not done enough? Often, if you stop to think, you will realize that this is not true, and that this feeling arises because you are focusing on what you have not done, instead on what you have done.

If you want to achieve anything or improve your life, be happier and more satisfied, you have to focus on the positive, on what you have, on what you have done, on what you have achieved, and not on what you missed or did not have the time to do.

Focusing the positive us the way to success.
