Manifesting with the Law of Attraction
You may have thought that you struck gold when you first became aware of the Law of Attraction. Learning that every desire you ever wanted is yours simply by asking the universe to give it to you is nothing short of amazing. The proof of its validity backed, not by theory, but by science. Quantum physics and the universal laws explain that everything is made of energy. Everything. Therefore, your thoughts and desires are simply non-physical realities that have yet to be manifested in the physical. All that is required, to manifest the non-physical seed of thought to a physical reality in your life, is to nurture that seed with your focused energy. The only restrictions are that you don’t focus on what you don’t want or you will get more of that; and that you allow what it is that you desire to come to you.
If you are like me, you thought, wow! This is too good to be true. I have been struggling and worrying for so many years when all I had to do to create the life of my dreams was to ask and receive.
And so you began. You did the first and most imperative requirement for any truth to be realized, you believed. You learned all you could about this ‘new,’ cutting-edge philosophy that, actually, has been around for thousands of years. You read the books, listened to the CDs and found like-minded others in order to learn more, and master this skill of attracting. You asked. Waited. And looked for the results.
And it worked, sort of, but not quite, and certainly not every time. Everything you wanted didn’t seem to come quite as easily as you thought it was supposed to. Some things came. That was amazing and cool. However, many things did not. That was a bit frustrating. You still aren’t driving that dream car you envisioned up to your million-dollar home or running a successful and thriving business. Like you, I thought, ‘Why is this not working for me? Did I falsely believe, even though my intuition so strongly supported me? Why does it work sometimes and not all of the time? What am I missing?’ After hundreds of books, programs, discussions and personal experiences, I am ecstatic to report that the Law of Attraction and its foundation are real. I have seen it work over and over and over again. You can create and manifest everything you ever truly desire in life. No exceptions. Every time. But, here’s the information that you may be missing (that I was missing!). The Law of Attraction works as long as you have done three imperatives things first. Like any amazing process, there are key elements that must be in place before all circuits can fire. Just like an airplane can take you anywhere in the world you want to go, as long as there are key elements acknowledged and accounted for before you take off. Assuming all the mechanics are good, you still have to know where you are starting from, have a plan for where you want to go and have someone or something that agrees with that plan to take you there. If any one of those elements is missing or compromised, you may not get to where you want to go, and certainly not in the timeframe you may have anticipated. The Law of Attraction is no different.
There are three primary steps, what I call phases, that must come first before the Law of Attraction can be 100% successful. These three phases are not complicated or foreign. They are extremely simple and natural. However, when something is simple that doesn’t mean it is easy. Since most of us were guided away from this natural knowing from the time we were born, it is not easy to change what we have been taught for so many years. Expanding and evolving takes time and patience. This, in fact, is the most important thing you must know. The Law of Attraction is a process. It takes time to become the deliberate creator of your life. As Abraham, one of the modern pioneers of this law so eloquently says, “You never get it wrong, because you never get it done.” Be easy with yourself and allow the journey and the process to unfold.
The process is this. The first requirement in being a deliberate creator is acknowledging where you are starting. Just like the airplane pilot must know where the plane is taking off from in order to know how to get to the desired destination. You must tap into where you are right now. You are there for a reason. You are always the creator of your life - be it deliberate or by default. You may not consciously know why you are where you are, but parts of you in your subconscious do know. In fact, those parts have manifested exactly what they desired. Simply imposing your conscious desires on the other 88% of your mind, cannot work. You have to start with where you are.
The second requirement of being a deliberate creator and allowing the Law of Attraction to work is articulating what you desire based on the totality of your life; accounting for all segments. Your life is divided into multiple areas of living — called environments. You don’t choose one environment to create, and leave all the others to fend for themselves. You create for all areas simultaneously. If you desire increased responsibility at your job, you don’t forget that you also love and need your pastimes or that you want time with your family. You must take into account all your environments to ensure you are not creating conflicting intentions that end up sabotaging your focus and canceling out everything you think you are creating.
The third requirement is clearing the slate for pure, focused energy. There is a wonderful analogy that explains the importance of this missing element. Most people know that when you cook, there are multiple things that must be in place to ensure an amazing result. If a professional chef buys all the best ingredients, has an incredible recipe, and has access to all the best utensils and appliances, but uses a dirty bowl to mix, no matter what that chef does, the meal is ruined. It cannot work. If you start creating from a bowl that is caked with old food (ideas, habits, beliefs and behaviors), no matter what you attempt to create on top of it, it is tainted. This is the same as creating your life. You cannot create what you desire if you have not cleared away what is already in your bowl. The way I found to remove those blocks is to go where those blocks are structured - in the subconscious mind. Through the use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), the blocks can be addressed, embraced and released leaving a clean slate for your pure, focused energy.
By combining four philosophies into one process (universal laws, the Nine Environments of Holistic Living, NLP and the Law of Attraction) and taking into account where you are now, deliberate creation is absolutely possible and the Law of Attraction really works!
And, remember, this is all a process. You don’t learn this and then, poof, you are a master. You must give yourself time to practice and learn. The key is that you cannot go through the process until you know the process is needed. So, now you know! Enjoy the amazing journey ahead.

Have you heard the saying what you resist, persists? When you understand how the law of attraction works you will realize that what you resist and how you resist will only cause it to continue in your life. If you push against something, by the natural law, it will push back against you.
If you choose to resist, you are choosing for it to persist. Whatever energy you put out into the Universe, will come back to you, in fact some disciplines say that what you put out you will get back multifold - multiplied or expanded many times.
The law of attraction states “Like attracts like” and the Universal Genie, as referred to in the DVD, The Secret, can only give you the experiences of your life; events, places people and things, according to your resonance, your vibration, your energy, which all stem from your predominant thoughts and feelings.
If situations, circumstances and people start to appear in your life, that you don’t want, what do you do? Our natural tendency is to resist, to say no, fight against it and get upset about it. If you can grasp the concept that these things are residual, like stars that burnt out many years ago, yet we still see their light shine, then you will have the power to create and not react.
Deepak Chopra explains this in his 7 Spiritual Laws to Success; “The law of least resistance”, to judge nothing and be grateful for everything. This is easier said than done, especially when things just aren’t going the way you had planned, hoped for or envisioned.
How do you judge nothing, and be grateful when you feel bad, things aren’t working the way you had planned or imagined? Firstly it is a conscious choice and then it becomes a learned skill and eventually a habit.
1. Choose, to create what you want in that moment.
When you understand that this situation you are currently experiencing is like a burnt out star whose light is still shining and the energy that attracted this to you was released some time in the past. You will have power to not feel helpless, or like a victim and be able to consciously choose how you will think and feel from this moment on.
2. Learn a new skill - What can I be grateful for in this moment?
Ask yourself the question and listen for the answer. Some people ask God, or the Universe or their own subconscious mind or higher self. Ask whatever you believe the universal consciousness to be, the magic is in the asking. Its a distraction technique for the mind and allows your intuition to give you the answer and it instantly changes your resonance, your energy, as the focus changes from reaction to creation and gratitude. What goes out must come back, so isn’t it better to send out a vibration of gratitude rather than anger, frustration or disappointment which are highly charged, emotional and powerful vibrations.
If you practice it and eventually master it as a skill, it will become a habit and second nature.
3. No such thing as problems, only opportunities.
Jim Edwards, Internet Marketing Guru, said the one question that has made him the most money is “What’s the opportunity?”
You may say, there’s no opportunity, this is a disaster! Everything is ruined!
Yet, all the motivational speakers say that this is the time that you can dig deep down inside and get in touch with your immense inner power. This is the power that is referred to when a Grandmother has the strength to lift a car of a child.
When you ask for the benefit, the blessing, the opportunity in this situation, it firstly changes your energy to that of curiosity rather than negativity and sets your powerful subconscious mind off in the direction of seeking out any potential benefit or opportunity.
The difference between a lucky and unlucky person is that “lucky people are “skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self fulfilling prophecies via positive expectations and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good.” Excerpt from All the Money in the World - Bernstein & Swan
When you choose to resist nothing, be grateful for everything and be curious as to where the opportunities lie, you will be amazed at how quickly a negative thought, feeling or situation changes.

1. When someone says to you “it’s your fault” and the finger is pointed in your direction with accusation. Look carefully at their hand and you will see the other 4 fingers pointing at the accuser. Relinquishing responsibility and playing the blame game is a common human trait.
This usually happens during a time of psychological pain as the feelings get more uncomfortable, we find taking responsibility difficult and therefore blame someone else. It is often hard for us to understand the pain we cause ourselves.
Your world can take the blame, however it will not help you to awaken to your full potential to know yourself as whole and full of self worth
2. This is the first step in standing back from debilitating dramas, and unnecessary conflict, all of which lowers your vibration and leaves you with outcomes that are often not what you had wished.
3. Responsibility is a 100% commitment. It is a commitment to yourself, to knowing what is creating the dramas and conflict because the truth is the 4 fingers are pointing at the owner and in a certain sense one owner is all owners. And you will want to know yourself as not separate from your creations, knowing how your thinking works for you. You are a creator and you must take responsibility for your creations
4. The law of perception, which is an immutable Universal Law says that the degree to which you value guilt will be the degree to which you defend your world and make attack upon someone else. This is where a conscious choice can be made to always choose for self responsibility, no matter the degree of difficulty felt. Standing quiet within the drama you have created feeling the feelings; owning the thoughts as being about you and not the other person and asking for help/guidance from your higher mind or universal connection
However true knowledge has no choice and no opposite
So what will you choose? What will you choose to create?
5. You can choose to continue with the old dramas, over and over creating the same old insanities that you play out with family friends and colleagues, or to ask what the possibilities are of releasing to new and higher vibration thinking.
6. A new way to think that will release those fear based reactions and let you have an honest and peaceful life by shifting your attention to your higher mind and away from the concerns of the limited or lower mind. This peace, you so deserve is your natural right
7. There are practical things that you can do also.
The first of these may be approached through the daily practice of meditation. I simply cannot emphasize enough the importance and extreme value of meditation on many levels. Many people claim that they have no “time” to meditate, which, in and of itself is both at once ironic and symptomatic of the state most people find themselves in today. Not finding “time” for meditation is like not finding “time” for eating, sleeping and the other necessities of life, while at the same time “finding time” to watch soap operas and other such diversions such things on the TV - it is all a matter of priority, the choices being between peace, harmony and Spiritual evolution on the one hand, and uncertainty, fear and often misery on the other. What I suggest is arising 1 hour earlier each and every day, making it a habit that the Subconscious Mind will urge you to maintain, take a warm bath or shower and then meditate properly for at least 20 minutes. This will set you up for a perfect day, while putting everything, including “time” in to a proper perspective. And I wish you a perfect and wonderful day! All the Love in the Universe Margo

Somehow it has become ingrained in us that negative thoughts are more realistic than positive thoughts. This is pure madness, especially since over 90% of what we worry about never happens!
We have to get our heads around the fact that being positive is actually far more realistic than being negative. This is such a difficult concept for most of us to grasp, and we have to purposefully work hard to re-train the brain to think more positively.
Think of it this way: if your body became out of shape you would probably view physical exercise as an effective way to improve its condition—and we must begin looking at the health of our mind in the same way.
Here are 7 valuable exercises that you can start implementing right now to re-train your thinking:
1. Use Verbal Affirmations EVERY Day
An affirmation is a positive statement that something is already happening, and is a very powerful tool you can use to shift your internal dialogue from negative to positive. Come up with a few statements like “I am creating a beautiful day” or “money and success flow to me” and spend 10 minutes every morning (and every night for extra credit) saying them aloud.
Come up with statements that make the most sense for you, and be sure to state them in the present tense, and in a positive form. This is self-talk in its highest sense, and can be very effective.
2. Use Positive Language
When it comes to the language we use, world-renowned author and lecturer Dr. Susan Jeffers says: “It doesn’t matter if we believe the words or not, the mere uttering of them makes the subconscious mind believe them to be true. It is as though the subconscious mind doesn’t know what is true or false, it doesn’t judge, it only reacts to the language that is being fed”.
Many researchers have shown this sentiment to be quite valid, and we must intentionally start using more positive language to shape the worldview of our subconscious mind.
3. Create a Vision Board
A vision board is the physical manifestation of the life you want to be leading. Find images of the house you desire, the places you want to travel, and the job you crave to work and tack them to a corkboard! Be creative and place words and images that are accurate expressions of your inner-most desires.
Constantly add to your vision board put it somewhere you can see it several times a day– even spend a few moments visualizing what it would be like to be living in this life you created. Isn’t this a better way to spend time than in your usual stress mode?
4. Surround Yourself with Positive Images
They could be famous quotes, inspiring pictures, or even your affirmations that you write out on note cards. The point is to always have physical reminders of things you deem positive close by. Print these items out and place them by your desk, near your bed, and in the car! When you get stressed out, give a glance to them and you will begin to get perspective on things and your mind will re-focus!
5. Say “Thank You” 50 Times a Day
Every night before you go to bed, spend 5 minutes saying thank you out loud for the experiences you had that day: the people you interacted with, the work you accomplished, the food you ate, etc…As you do this, really try and feel the gratitude emanate from within.
You can also say thank you 50 times in the morning and get yourself in an extremely grateful mindset for the coming day. These are wonderful practices for becoming more positive!
6. Listen to Inspirational Talks and Music in the Car
The car is the perfect place to flex your muscle of positive thought! Because many of us spend a lot of time driving, make an effort to listen to music that inspires you and makes you feel good. Purchase motivational personal development CD’s and play them while driving.
I mentioned Dr. Susan Jeffers above, and I recently listened to her CD “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway” in my car three times in a row! Have your car become an oasis of learning and start using the time constructively.
7. Use Positive Thinking While Exercising
If you consistently exercise, this is an excellent time to practice your positive thinking. Say to yourself over and over again: “I am strong and durable” or “I am fast and powerful” and notice the immediate affect these utterances have on your workout. It is absolutely incredible how just saying these words increases your stamina and strength.
By implementing the recommendations in this article, you can literally begin to out talk your chatterbox! With practice, negative patterns of thought will transform to consistent positive thinking.
Even though you may begin to feel better quickly, positive thinking is a life-long pursuit and it is necessary to dedicate to this ”way of life” over the long-haul. Do not get complacent, or the negative chatter box will re-appear…and you don’t want that!

“What you repeatedly think and say is what you get”. Your inner conversations, words, thoughts and feelings determine the kind of life and reality you experience. If you occupy your mind with negative thoughts and expect difficulties and problems, you will draw them into your life. If you constantly think of success you will achieve success. If you find it difficult to think positively, affirmations can help you change the way you think. It is a powerful method to transform the thinking patterns.
Affirmations are positive statements, which use the power of words to program the subconscious mind, and build new habits, free from negative habits, motivate and attract success.
The greatness of the human mind is that it can think and imagine what does not exist right now. It can envision situations and circumstances that are different from the current reality, and in this way create better situations and circumstances. By focusing frequently on certain thought or affirmation, you make it an important part of your life, and will therefore start acting and behaving in such a way, as to make it true.
