Ways To Release Self-Worth Issues And Magnetize Abundance

When most people think of manifesting certain things in to their lives they talk about visualization of the goal, being determined, and working hard toward that end — but that is just one aspect. We who are involved in metaphysical teachings may or may not know that there is one more key to unlocking manifestation — self-worth. This is powerful, because it not only has a lot to do with what we feel we deserve to have, it has to do with whether we feel we deserve to be here in the first place.

From the teachings that I have been taught from Ascended Master Kwan Yin as channeled through my friend Marjorie, I have discovered that self worth plays a big role in our lives on earth. According to her, in the USA alone about 93% of the people here are dealing with issues of self-worth. That’s a lot.

Kwan Yin said that if we know that we are a part of and in co-creation with God, we can not have low self-esteem. She always says to us, “You are loveable, worthy and acceptable just as you are.” But as human beings, there are this and many lifetimes of effects to wade through, and sometimes we don’t feel so acceptable. Now we can recognize low self-esteem for the old energy pattern that it is and shift it. It is time.

Many times we have no idea that this is happening to us. We don’t feel like we are down on ourselves in anyway consciously. We don’t feel badly about ourselves. Yet the reflection of our feelings tell a different story as it outpictures in our lives — and there is the truth right in front of us. We will know our mind and our feelings by what we have created with them, which is everything in our life up to this moment.

I found that for myself, this issue of self-worth was causing a barrier between what I desired in my life and what I was getting, and I wanted to mend that. For me this has been going on for a long time over many lifetimes. So I have determined that it will stop at this life.

Over time I have heard some great mantras or affirmations that feel good to me to say. These may help you to re gain your connection to your soul and to the power of God in you. One is “I am a Divine creation of God and I am of great worth.” For those of you like me who still are sensitive about wanting to be humble, I also add… “as are all other souls on earth.” This helps instill within me the feeling that not just I, but all souls are of great worth, of great value. The idea is that we are a part of the God Energy, and as such are all of great value, even those who have chosen to temporarily be a part of the darker or negative energy patterns on earth.

Another thing you can do is something I got from Louise Hay’s work when I was recovering from cancer. This is very simple but effective. Look closely into a mirror when you are alone. Look deeply into your eyes and say with feeling, “I love you.” This may sound silly at first and you may feel awkward, but just relax into it. Try to really get into the feeling of it as if you were talking to someone you really care about. You will be surprised at the depth of reaction.

Another thing you might try is: “I have a place in this world. I can take as much energy as I need.” I have included this into my own meditations because I had found that there are deep issues involving my unconscious feelings that I must only take as little as possible space in the world. Part of this is involved with self-worth, so I include it, but everyone will have some kind of other issues stemming from problems with self-worth, from finances to relationships to health.

Another way to release the self from unwanted blockages easily is to do it while you sleep. Kwan Yin says that just before you go to bed, close your eyes and ask the Masters to help you release any blockages involving self-worth during the night while you are resting. You may feel very differently the next day. Then again, you may feel just a sense of ease or peace that you have not experienced recently. Know that it is working.

Remember that we are the authors and architects of our lives, and that what we feel in the moment will determine the next sequence of events for us in the future. Know that you are connected to the Source and that you carry this energy with you always. Now is the time to realize your greatness. Now is the time for you to shine your God-given light and see it reflect back to you all good things that your heart desires.

Practice Positive Self Talk and Affirmations

Practicing self talk means giving purpose to your positive reinforcement, motivation and recognition. This is the same talk you would give a friend so be kind and give it to yourself. Congratulate yourself when you have a success and remember all your abilities, accomplishments, strengths and skills. I suggest you make yourself an accomplishment board or journal and record all your successes — both small and large. Review your progress periodically and acknowledge where you have gone and keep an eye on where you are still going.

Use your self talk as a tool for success. Make it work for you. What you repeatedly say to yourself has a profound impact on your self worth and performance as well as eventual successes. Remember that your subconscious records all your thoughts and triggers physiological responses to match the images and thoughts you have of yourself. Make this work for you by keeping your self talk positive and reinforcing it with positive affirmations. For example, I did a great job on the research project my boss asked me to do. The research gave him the valuable information he needed to make an informed decision. I enjoyed doing this research and look forward to being asked again. My work is done in a professional manner and informative and complete.

As well as keeping your thoughts positive, it is imperative that you stop the negative chatter. Your mind records the negative chatter as easily as it does the positive talk. Your subconscious believes your negative chatter when it is repeated in your mind over and over. If you catch yourself using negative chatter, stop and rephrase what you said in a positive manner. Eliminate the negative words. Focus on using positive terms and affirmations.

Make your positive self talk and communications an everyday habit. A habit is created if you do something 21 days in a row. It is truly a very short time to focus and create a habit of ensuring positive self image. Try making small changes in your vocabulary. Substitute the phrase “I will try” with “I will”, or “I should do” with “I will do”. Try saying “I want or desire to” or “I choose to” instead of “I must”. “I can” instead of “I can’t”. Just the shift in some of our common terminology makes a huge difference in our subconscious and self image. Watch what you say during the day and see how many words that you say have a negative connotation to them. Learn how you can rephrase those statements as you acknowledge them.

Focus your positive thoughts with affirmation statements. These are the reminders that will help you achieve your goals and success. They are the positive mental sticky notes that will motive your mind to work for you instead of against you.

Here are a few tips on how to use the powerful affirmation tools as mental reminders. * Use personal statements. Use “I” or your own name. * Keep your statement short, sweet and to the point. * Phrase your statements in a positive way. Remember the mind accepts the truth as it is worded. Use only positive words — leave out the negatives. I.e. I will not be late for work today vs. I will be on time for work today. * Use a positive emotion in your statement. This excites me or I feel wonderful. Positive emotion strengthens the affirmation. * Phrase affirmation statements as facts instead of a wish. Complete your statement as if the goal has already been attained. Your mind believes mental messages and works to make them a reality even if they are not right now. * State your affirmations at least 6-8 times during the day. Start by waking up with a positive thought, in the shower, brushing your teeth, driving to work, taking a lunch break, before going into a meeting, cooking dinner, getting ready for bed. There are literally hundreds of opportunities throughout the day when you can think of a quick affirmative thought. It is very important to start and end your daily with positive affirmations. It sets the tone for the day and closes the day with a positive thought. Repetition is the key to habit. Repetition enhances self confidence and stimulates your mind to help achieve your goals.

I cannot emphasize enough the power self talk and positive affirmation statements can have upon the quality of your life. They propel you towards your goals that you have identified and desire to accomplish. Even if you work hard every day, without goals, your life is without direction. It is like a ship without a rudder sailing aimlessly through the seas.

Use these powerful tools of positive talk and positive affirmation statements to help speed and direct you toward your dreams and desires.

7 Keys to Staying Peaceful

March 21st, 2008 Other Authors Posted in Life, Margo Knox, Meditation, conscious choice, fear, law of perception, self worth, subconscious mind, thought, universal connection, vibration, wish No Comments »

1. When someone says to you “it’s your fault” and the finger is pointed in your direction with accusation. Look carefully at their hand and you will see the other 4 fingers pointing at the accuser. Relinquishing responsibility and playing the blame game is a common human trait.

This usually happens during a time of psychological pain as the feelings get more uncomfortable, we find taking responsibility difficult and therefore blame someone else. It is often hard for us to understand the pain we cause ourselves.

Your world can take the blame, however it will not help you to awaken to your full potential to know yourself as whole and full of self worth

2. This is the first step in standing back from debilitating dramas, and unnecessary conflict, all of which lowers your vibration and leaves you with outcomes that are often not what you had wished.

3. Responsibility is a 100% commitment. It is a commitment to yourself, to knowing what is creating the dramas and conflict because the truth is the 4 fingers are pointing at the owner and in a certain sense one owner is all owners. And you will want to know yourself as not separate from your creations, knowing how your thinking works for you. You are a creator and you must take responsibility for your creations

4. The law of perception, which is an immutable Universal Law says that the degree to which you value guilt will be the degree to which you defend your world and make attack upon someone else. This is where a conscious choice can be made to always choose for self responsibility, no matter the degree of difficulty felt. Standing quiet within the drama you have created feeling the feelings; owning the thoughts as being about you and not the other person and asking for help/guidance from your higher mind or universal connection

However true knowledge has no choice and no opposite

So what will you choose? What will you choose to create?

5. You can choose to continue with the old dramas, over and over creating the same old insanities that you play out with family friends and colleagues, or to ask what the possibilities are of releasing to new and higher vibration thinking.

6. A new way to think that will release those fear based reactions and let you have an honest and peaceful life by shifting your attention to your higher mind and away from the concerns of the limited or lower mind. This peace, you so deserve is your natural right

7. There are practical things that you can do also.

The first of these may be approached through the daily practice of meditation. I simply cannot emphasize enough the importance and extreme value of meditation on many levels. Many people claim that they have no “time” to meditate, which, in and of itself is both at once ironic and symptomatic of the state most people find themselves in today. Not finding “time” for meditation is like not finding “time” for eating, sleeping and the other necessities of life, while at the same time “finding time” to watch soap operas and other such diversions such things on the TV - it is all a matter of priority, the choices being between peace, harmony and Spiritual evolution on the one hand, and uncertainty, fear and often misery on the other. What I suggest is arising 1 hour earlier each and every day, making it a habit that the Subconscious Mind will urge you to maintain, take a warm bath or shower and then meditate properly for at least 20 minutes. This will set you up for a perfect day, while putting everything, including “time” in to a proper perspective. And I wish you a perfect and wonderful day! All the Love in the Universe Margo
