on Manifesting Abundance at Manifesting with the Law of Attraction
What is it that brings about healing and attracts love, joy, peace and prosperity into our lives? As a journalist, writer and author, I’ve studied science and spirituality for decades and perhaps like you have formed a seamless belief system that makes sense of everything.
So I’m excited when I see proof of it, which comes over and over again and most recently in an e-mail message from a new friend of mine in Pittsburgh. He wrote to say that when we hugged, he felt the direct transfer of something from me into his chest. It didn’t carry any emotional impact, but a physical shift in his energies transpired and the next day rid him of a misconception that had caused him a great deal of anxiety.
Could I explain what had happened, he asked? Were these two events connected? What isn’t, I laughed in delight, replying with the lessons my inner voice of wisdom had just been teaching me!
Bearers of light
I spoke to David of liking him from the moment we met, as I’d sensed something very special in him. He was coordinating the Sunday service at his Unity church, and as he stood at the podium, speaking so gently of love, my heart opened and I became aware of the high spiritual energies in the room. I was there to speak and my travel fatigue instantly melted away.
During the “meet and greet” portion of the service, I hugged David gratefully for the love he had given me. So it was not I who healed him, but the Love in him that did the work. When we are open and ready for change, love responds and Light flows into and through us, bringing about the transformation we seek.
My seven-year-old grandson understands this perfectly. He delights in creating “pictures” to give away, and alongside many of his colorful airplanes and butterflies are the words, “Love is in the air.”
In this cosmic sea of spirit, composed of energetic waves of thought and feeling, love flows through every person and event. I bring to you some gift of wisdom, a loving thought or touch, and you say something that enlivens me, perhaps opens my heart to a new understanding of us both.
This is what the Hindu mystic-poet Kabir meant in saying, “Sometimes we are a wave, sometimes the ocean. We come here to bring each other to God.” When we are calm and peaceful, we float restfully in the ocean of the OneMind, immersed in its expanded perspectives and at-one with its rhythmic flow. When we are disconnected, we break into separate waves, but even then we call each other back to the One.
Waves in flow with the ocean
What separates us from the OneMind and its peace, joy and fulfillment? It is always stress, fatigue, fear and distrust, tensing us into waves of rigidity and resistance. Many of us fear being hurt and shrink away from life, closing our hearts to the healing Love in and all around us. At times we feel cold and alone, perhaps rejected, abandoned, unsure and confused. But in truth, Love has not abandoned us. We have become oblivious to its presence.
This separation is why we so often feel lost and unhappy. The closed heart, by virtue of its separation, cannot be enriched by All That Is. The law of magnetic resonance, governing the law of attraction, cannot bring riches to poverty, nor peace and happiness to a conflicted bodymind trapped in anger or judgment. When we are experiencing inner conflict and are out of integrity with our souls, we feel a gnawing hunger, a thirst for what is missing, and usually try to satisfy this craving with love relationships, euphoric chemicals, career achievement and/or material possessions. Our busyness almost distracts us from the cold internal knot of separation, but not quite.
The only way back to the ocean of the OneMind is to open our hearts to the light and unfold, petal by petal, into our blossoming.
Nature shows us what to do, especially in the springtime. Out of dark, quiet winter comes a season of warmth and renewal. Brightly colored plants and flowers draw us to the wondrous life force swirling into the curve of a leaf, colorful patches of wildflowers and the light mint greens of budding trees. Seeing the magic of spring, we remember how the Creative Force sweeps into every thing: in sheets of rain upon a rushing river; the pealing laughter in a child’s perfect cartwheel; the sparkling spiral star-dance of our magnificent Milky Way.
Because of this visible and invisible evidence of love, I trust and believe what my inner wisdom tells me: that all waves come to empty our darkness so that Light can flow into the bodymind, enabling us to gently unfold and flower into lives of beauty and joy. Our inner wisdom whispers that each and every wave helps us grow and is called, by our nature, into being.
When we listen to our souls very closely, we hear that this is our dearest wish and the work that we came here to do. The open heart knows this and does it willingly, with excitement and gratitude, understanding its soul’s purpose and the ultimate meaning of life.
The secrets of an open heart
All the same, life is sometimes like a banana peel. It seems that everything conspires to trip us up, throw us off-balance and slide us down some slippery slope, whereupon we close our tender hearts for our own protection. How to open the heart, then, when it closes suddenly or over time?
STEP 1. The most immediate antidote is to breathe and relax inside the remembered assurance that every wave comes out the OneMind and so must be a wave of love calling us back to Love. Knowing this, we breathe deeply and evenly, becoming perfectly present to the flow of air into the nose and back out of the mouth.
Your can deepen this relaxed, peaceful state of consciousness by counting breaths or following the wind of your breath into your diaphragm and back out of your body. Research has shown that focusing on the breath relaxes us, and focusing on two things simultaneously, like counting and the movement of breath, produces a deeper state of consciousness akin to meditation.
Another heart-opening technique, especially useful during conflict, is to close your eyes and focus on the space between your ears. Try this now, to see for yourself how this diffuses thought and relaxes the body. It works just as well when we focus on the space between the eyes or any two objects. Just as in a guided meditation, the act of imagining space shifts our brainwaves into the alpha bandwidth of vibration. This relaxed peacefulness neutralizes the patterns of overexcited, hyper-aroused physical tension that create most if not all illness and disease, according to neurofeedback research.
STEP 2. When we repeatedly experience this meditative state of mind, we extend it into everyday life and are better able to stay united with the OneMind. We are less upset by our own thoughts and by external events, so we live happier, healthier, more balanced lives.
Rooted in the transcendent perspectives of the OneMind, we consistently respond to life peacefully and the heart is better able to stay open. When conflict comes up, we breathe, relax and allow that wave of thought energy to wash into and through us, neither holding on to nor resisting it. This is called peaceful, nonviolent non-resistance. We “hold our seats,” as Buddhism teaches and remain peaceful.
It is easy to do this because we know who we are. We are souls observing our selves and what happens in this earth plane for the sake of learning. We are not trapped here, but choose to be here. In this sense of choice and freedom rests fearlessness, courage and the ability to stay peaceful.
By remaining open-hearted, we stay connected with our soul’s infinite wisdom and its creative solutions. We understand how to respond–what, if anything, to say–because our inner wisdom prompts us. In the silence we are able to listen to, hear, feel, sense and see the transcendent perspectives of our open, loving hearts.
Our intuition is an inner knowing of spiritual truth. It expands us beyond the ordinary thinking mind into the transcendent sixth-sense perspectives of inner knowing, feeling, sensing, hearing and seeing. Going deeper within our souls, we observe that any and all negative thoughts are erased from our minds and replaced by a clear sense of direction. At the same time, the Light heals physical discomfort, pain, stress and fatigue.

Serenity through Forgiveness and Unconditional Love
======================================
STEP 3. Sometimes our hearts are opened by another person’s kindly word, smile or touch, as with my friend David. Sometimes the opening occurs during a walk in the woods, as nature delights us and points the way home.
But what if someone is yelling at or demeaning us in some way that causes pain?
We can ask that person to please calm down so that we may listen better to what he or she has to say. If the person does so and we wish to listen, but nevertheless begin to lose our peace, we can draw our full attention to the heart and center the busy mind in the heart.
The energy of the heart will relax our thinking. We can open to the heart’s love and ask for the OneMind to help us flow into Love, so that this light circulates into every atom and cell of our bodies. Be assured that it will. This heart-centering will help us listen better to the other person and return love. By the law of magnetic resonance, the other person will attune to our energies and grow more loving.
This has been proved in experiments conducted by The Mind-Life Institute in cooperation with the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet. A Buddhist monk and veteran, 30-year meditator was placed in a room with a professor outraged by the idea of reincarnation. The man berated the monk loudly and to no avail. The monk listened placidly and did not flinch once; in fact, he was hooked up to electrodes and there was no “startle” response whatsoever. Finally the professor grew just as calm and willing to conduct a reasonable conversation.
Try this for yourself. Be the peacemaker and see what happens.
STEP 4. We can keep our hearts open by freeing ourselves from judgment. The verbal thinking mind loves to name everything and remember similar situations that it then relives and discusses with itself. The ego says, “Aha, I recognize who this person is, because So-and-So was that way, too. This person is devious and dangerous.” Even if the ego is right, this judgment narrows our perspectives and our ability to clearly perceive the full truth about the other person, who, like us, is much more than what was done.
A single, solitary judgment triggers a volley of thinking that closes the heart, blocks inner wisdom and separates us from ourselves, the other person and God! Moreover, constantly reliving the past keeps us from being fully present to the now-moment and serving as a creative, shining light to other people.
The antidote is not to let the thinking mind name, categorize, judge and persecute anyone–us included. We can move the naming, thinking mind into silence by teaching it that no matter what comes up within us or in external reality–an angry person, the loss of a job, illness, the death of a loved one–it is a wave of experience that brings healing and growth. It comes to rid us of what is no longer needed and to evoke in us anything that might be missing. In the world of Spirit, nothing is lost. All is accounted for.
STEP 5. We can be at-one with goodness by keeping our hearts open, rejoicing in the beauty of the world and seeking something to love in every person we meet, including the derelict on the street who teaches us that this is not who we want to be. Even if we feel repulsed, we can look at this person closely enough to find something in him or her to love. Some facial characteristic, some trait…because if love is in the air, it is also in each of us, even at our worst.
Do we have to judge or detest that derelict? My inner wisdom says no, because this person has just given me the gift of knowing myself. I am grateful for that gift and can reach out to return love without needing or expecting appreciation.
In my experience, we come here to open our hearts and love ourselves, others and God. If we feel cold and aloof or separate and apart much of the time, there is a very good chance that our lives are cloudy and gray.
Do you have all of the love, money, happiness and peace that you want in your life? If not, check to see if your heart is open and joyfully aware of the abundance in each and every precious thing in you and your life.
If your heart is closed, you can open it easily with these mind-expansion techniques which enable us to become present to the present. In opening to Love, you will be enlivened by its joy and peace, so that everything you need and so richly deserve will come to you. All else will be pruned away, healed, to make room for fresh growth.
This is the simple and magical secret of life: You have within you all the Love needed to create and attract the life you want. Love calls you to shine your light, for love and love alone will heal our world.
If we stay peaceful, we can catch the waves of love upswelling in our hearts and ride them with perfect balance into our everyday choices and actions for economic parity, social justice and environmental responsibility.
To create a perfect planet of peace and love, all we have to do is remember that love is in the air. We can bring its Light into being with the thought of it, the need of it, the hope of Love that is it. In this wave is the spiritual awakening of our world.

What if there were no such word as “failure”? What if there were no such thing AS a “failure”? What if this word never came into existence? Would you already be successful? Would you already live the life of your dream? Our vocabulary contains some of the most life damaging words possible, “failure”, “poverty”, “lack”, “can’t” and all of these words hinder your potential on a mental level and ultimately hinder your ability to manifest what it is that you desire.
Do you think The Rich have this word in their vocabulary? They do not. This word, if uttered aloud, is as irritating as nails on a blackboard because The Rich focus only on success. They do not think of what will happen if they do not accomplish their goals. The Rich are ambitious and goal driven. If The Rich have no food, they will live on the idea of accomplishing obtaining food. The Rich live off of their ambition and the attainment of their desires. The word “failure” is not in The Rich’s vocabulary.
The question to ask now is, “How do we eliminate the word failure from our vocabulary?” We must begin by STARTING to approach everything we do with the mindset that THERE IS ONLY SUCCESS. You must believe that you cannot fail in any of your endeavours. You must know that whatever conclusion you have arrived at was the most successful conclusion for you at this time, with your current level of comprehension. You will only achieve at the level of your current mental capabilities. We can use the old adage, “Everything happens for a reason”. We know this to be true because in Metaphysics we are taught that nothing happens by chance or accident. As your mental powers and skilfulness grow, so will your achievements.
Once you begin to resonate and “do” as The Rich, you will not have to focus on your words or monitor your thoughts as you will already have aligned yourself subconsciously to success and your manifestations will become exact and fluid. You must edit your vocabulary so that it describes the type of life you would like to live. You must replace the negative vocabulary with positive words. Add words to your vocabulary that portray the image and lifestyle of your dreams-words and titles like - “intelligent”, “creative”, “multi-millionaire”, “billionaire”, “successful”, “inventor”, “creator”, and “CEO”, will begin to plant positive seeds in your mind causing you to imagine or visualise these words in context. Visualisation and your imagination are two of your most powerful tools in manifesting. These tools are to your success as money is to The Rich. Increase your vocabulary with powerful words that will help you think correctly and you will eliminate the word “failure” from your vocabulary.

Here are my thoughts and steps on how to to “design a life” ..instead of been blown about by the winds of life (like a paper bag), or the currents, like a jelly-fish. Enough similes!
1.Find the VISION. Unless you know where you’re going, you are unlikely to get there. Any place where you are is a good place to start.
Ask yourself:
What activities have you most enjoyed in the last 10 years?
What is fun? What do you treasure?
What do you most want to be doing in the next 10 years?
I’d love to write, help and hopefully even inspire others.
Which of your strengths and weaknesses are a joy to you?
What do people say you are good at?
What is special about you?
List ideally what would you be doing? Living at the beach, writing and travelling…and be financially secure, of course!
Ideally what would you want to be? A successful author was my goal.
Ask WHY do you need those things? What are those status symbols for?
Define your vision. Write it down in less than 10 words. Does it involve other people?
What do I most want to be doing? Why?
What do I most care about? Why?
What steps can I take to move me closer to doing what I really want to do with my life?
Find your niche - your unique skills?
Think about WHO will pay you to enjoy yourself. Instead of worrying about being sacked, think who will pay you to have fun?
Where do you want to work? With whom, in what sort of company? Look for a picture of your ideal environment: home, as well as work.
3. PLAN ahead carefully. Doing this reduces false starts and wrong directions. Most people spend more time planning their annual holiday than they do their “blueprint for life”.
Put it all down in writing. My advice: “Think big, but start small”.
The prominent American psychologist, Carl Rogers said: “The only real security is the preparedness to embrace insecurity”. Be the YOU you most intend to be? Take stock, review your plan and prioritize your life goals.
4. Make the COMMITMENT. Stop saying you’re going to do it and actually DO IT. Put in the work and write out the cheques. This involves going past the point of no return. Make commitments: to yourself, to your loved ones in terms of time, energy and money. Then stick to it and take full responsibility for the outcome.
5. Spell out the details of the PLAN. Think it all through and concentrate hard. What are you going to do? How are you going to do it, step by step? What needs to be done and in what order of priority? What resources do you have at your disposal? What are your expenditure needs? Reaffirm your commitment through a personal budget. Be flexible in your thinking, as circumstances usually change…and we can’t foresee the future. And most importantly, THINK BIG.
6. Develop a network of people to help you achieve your goals (and you can help them achieve their goals at the same time). First, you must be aware of them. It’s a “win-win” situation. Be enthusiastic at all times, because enthusiasm is catching.
7. Take ACTION, that first step…then the next will follow naturally …and far more easily. Nothing can stop you now. “Roll up the sleeves” and get down to work. I believe the first prerequisite for success is loving what you do. I love writing, although it’s very lonely (and probably the world’s most solitary occupation). Always remember, life is not a 100 metres sprint - it’s a marathon. So rest when you feel you need to and don’t feel guilty about it (something I have to learn!). Have fun along the journey. Perservere and persist in your quest.
Take responsibility for your own abundance and your learning throughout the ‘game of life’. Appreciate your abundance daily and give thanks to the Universe for what you do have.
Have faith in yourself - believe deeply in yourself, but even more deeply in a Power far Greater than yourself… who loves you and wants what’s best for you. The spiritual journey may take far longer than you thought, so be patient.
NB:
Always remember,
The measure of success is not money, but learning and growth.
Measure success in learning and growth - nothing else is important. Work is a place each of us creates in order to grow. It is the laboratory for experimenting with our potential
10. When working for yourself, this is a time of unprecedented change in your life. Work allows you to put into place skills and knowledge acquired through education. It is a time to experiment with our potential and the various demands made upon us. Initially we learn to work in teams, working towards a common objective. Then gradually in our working careers we learn to take on more and more responsibility.
Believe you deserve to be abundant - though not more than others. It’s a matter of finding a balance between your ambitions and your responsibilities. Be accountable and socially responsible.
You can’t force people to change. Listen to your intuition, truth and love. That is the “voice” of the Higher Power, God speaking to you.

I have taken my favorite elements out of all the literature and teachings I’ve ever read and practiced, and insights I’ve come to though my own personal experiences on the path, and formulated these 8 Principles for Prosperity. I also encourage you to make your own list of prosperity principles based on what works for you. May these 8 principles light the fire to manifest more of your heart’s desires!
(From my experience … If you truly, wholly, fully integrate these eight principles, you have the “inner state” to create anything you desire.)
1. Prosperity comes through communication. Communicate with the world around you to expand your prosperity … through love and appreciation. You cannot experience ultimate abundance without realizing your connection to all things. As you realize we are all One, this becomes a natural part of the path to your prosperity.
2. What you appreciate in life appreciates (through the Law of Attraction). Start appreciating everything you have in your experience. Stop and jot down the things in your life that you appreciate from time to time, even on a daily basis if you are so inclined. Instead of complain about the things you don’t have, appreciate what you do have. The more you find things to appreciate the more rich you become, inwardly and outwardly. This is affirming your abundance. And employing the Law of Attraction on your behalf.
3. Learn how to consciously command what you want from the Universe (as creator). When you have a belief that keeps you in lack, you can use the power of DESIRE and INTENTION to manifest your desire. It then matters less what you believe possible for yourself or what has been your past experience.
4. The past does not exist. Your past is a figment of your imagination. It has no real meaning other than the meaning you assign it. You are one with any part of your past when you think about it … and you create more of it in the NOW. So think about the past as an eternal stream of “practice takes” that allow you to “get it right” in this moment! Only energize the elements of the past that serve your expansion into the prosperous reality you are now allowing and hence creating to be there.
5. The goal is the joy of the journey, not the result. Keeping that focus keeps you centered in the NOW moment where your true wealth can be revealed and expressed, through an endless myriad of expressions and reflections that the Universe wants to show you. This is the path of letting go, and allowing all to exist as it is. Your joy comes from simply being who you are … an infinite and abundant creator.
6. Prosperity is a “feeling place.” Not an outward experience or event. They are the reflections of how you have been feeling or flowing your Source Energy (as creator … that is all you do — flow energy). When you get that it’s all about the feeling of things, that creates anything, you’ve got it.
7. The Law of Giving and Receiving. What you give of your Self you receive back in manifestation. The importance here is HOW you give, not what you give. When you come from a place of abundant giving you receive abundance in return. When you give from the place of limitation or lack (ie. expecting something in return as a pay off) you are given more representations of lack and limitation. This can also be perceived as thinking thoughts or taking actions based on FEAR or those on LOVE. The former yields poverty consciousness, the latter, prosperity consciousness.
8. You are Worthy of goodness, love and abundance. This is the most important principle. For with it, you will realize your infinite nature. It is the foundation for creating everything you can ever desire. That’s why it is last. So you’ll remember with the most impact. Embrace that thought, if you forget everything else, and your abundance will continue to expand. Allow that thought to permeate your entire being, by affirming it as often as you must, no matter how you feel. Know you are worthy just because of who you are … a creator made in the image of the Infinite. That is who you are and will always be, eternally. So rejoice!

Is it possible for someone to fear abundance? Who would not want to live the abundant life?
Polarity is a universal law. The law of polarity contends that everything has its polar opposite. The scales of life assures the existence of polar opposites. In conjunction with the Law of Rhythm, everything returns where it begins. Like a pendulum swinging, this is life. Meaning those things that begin with great expectations manifest greatness. Those things that begin with the purpose for serving humanity and the greater good manifest as beacons of light.
Everyone who researches the field of human potential, human development, personal development, religion, philosophy…at some point crosses the concept of a human emotion often called fear. It is comfortable for us to talk about the fear of poverty, however, we ignore our fear of abundance.
The reality is, if you fear poverty, then you fear its polar opposite–abundance. If you fear poverty you fear wealth and abundance. All these fears congest our lives and we are literally paralyzed.
Fear impacts our expectations. The principle of Expectations is linked to the Law of Abundance hence, “so a man thinketh so he is.” The principle of Expectations contends that energy follows thought. If you fear poverty, then somewhere inside, you believe you will live in poverty. Consequently, energy has followed this thought and in due time, your expectation of poverty actualizes.
Now the connection between the fear of poverty and the fear of abundance. Let’s just end this debate right now. No one wants to live in poverty. Poverty means you have very limited options, and no assets. When you live in poverty, you struggle and have limited options. Moreover, poverty means your basic needs are at threat, limited, or diminished. Even those who take a vow of poverty for religious or spiritual purposes have there basic needs met.
So why would anyone have a fear of abundance? Some people believe that abundance and wealth would only lead to corruption and destruction of the human spirit. Not one person who is corrupted or on the path of destruction is living the abundant life. NOT ONE. Abundance is not just about material wealth, however, it does not exclude material wealth!
Abundance is about living healthy, vibrant, with purpose, resources, meaningful relationships, and a strong sense of our true self. Material wealth is a manifestation of mental and spiritual wealth that lies within the individual. We should not concern ourselves with the fear that material wealth will corrupt us. Material wealth, including money, will only make you more of what you already are.
Therefore, if you are kind, giving, loving, and creative, you will be even more kind, giving, loving, and creative while enjoying a life of abundance. If you are insecure, selfish, hoarding, and deceitful, you will be even more insecure, selfish, hoarding, and deceitful while living a life of discontent, sadness, and self-destruction.
There is yet another group of people who fear abundance. Some individuals fear abundance because they believe that abundance will require hours and hours of hard work. The principle of Economy of Force or the Principle of Least Resistance contends that this is just not true.
To many of us are spending 16 hour days at working hoping and praying that soon all our “money” troubles will be over and we can retire in the Bahamas when we are 60 years old. Hah! Don’t mean to burst anyone’s bubble but it just ain’t so.
We are not suppose to work hard. What? That’s right. We are suppose to work creatively. That’s what the human Spirit desires. During times of stillness and quiet, the Universe whispers plans, inventions, and ideas. These witty plans, inventions, and ideas are a part of the creative energies of the Universe waiting for our higher consciousness to receive it.
By stilling the mind in meditation, we discover this knowledge and wisdom. When we act on it. We create wealth. We create freedom. For each of these plans, inventions, ideas are serve a purpose and that purpose in to help humanity in some form. Therefore, it is already a demand for it. There are millions of people wanting it. All you need is the faith and courage to execute.
Your execution will seem effortless when you take the time to meditate and determine how each step should be carried out. Before long, you have tapped into the field of infinite possibilities where anything that is possible is possible. You have opened the flood gates to wealth and success and you are living the abundant life.
Now what is so fearful about that?
While this group would be classified as a fear of success, there are those who have a fear of abundance because they just know they will fail. Again, the Principle of Expectations contends that energy follows thoughts. Therefore, keep thinking it and it will happen. Here’s a novel thought. Practice the Law of Detachment. In this law, you go through the process doing all you can while the Universe handle the details.
All you do is what you know how to do. You stay in meditation. Asking the Universe to show you what you should do next. After you have done it. You step back and let the Universe handle the rest. If the Universe says write a book. Learn what you need to learn to write it. Then, write it. You don’t worry about “how many copies will I sell or if the audience will like it or maybe it won’t sell and I’ll have to file bankruptcy.”
Simply do what you know how to do. Meditate. Remain detached. Expect the best. Gain wisdom in what you are doing. Take each step expecting the best and the best will come. That’s abundance in action.

September 22nd, 2008 Lynnea J. Hagen Posted in Manifesting Abundance, Norman Vincent Peale, abundance, gratitude, manifest, money, possessions, scarcity mentality No Comments »
BE GREAT!
I recently received an email from a busy attorney that said simply, “Lynnea, help! I need abundance! Contact me.” Hmmm. What’s wrong with this picture? He’s busy, but he doesn’t feel like he has abundance in his life. How often do you feel that way? I believe that most of us yearn to feel “filled up” and overflowing with the greatness that life has to offer. If you feel this way, I have a question for you: What would greatness in yourself, your life, and your business, look like?
In order to achieve greatness, and be truly satisfied with yourself and your life, it’s important to cultivate abundance thinking.
You see, we can manifest abundance in our lives. “How?”, you ask. Well, it’s simple, because it’s already within us and around us. But, it’s difficult, because it means doing some work on ourselves. Below are 10 ways to begin creating abundance in your life.
Creating Abundance
Be grateful for what you have; all of it. Can you see? Can you read? Can you hear? Are there people who love you? Do your legs work? Do you have someplace to sleep tonight? There are myriad things for which we can be grateful; and we need to BE grateful before we can be entrusted with more.
Acknowledge abundance; be open to it as it occurs every day in little ways. Did someone give you free tickets to something, or treat you to lunch? That’s abundance. Did you receive an “atta-boy” or a compliment? Did you find a penny on the ground? That’s abundance. Look for it, be attuned to it in your life.
Practice being happy for what others have. There’s no shortage of success, love, money, possessions. Just because someone else has something doesn’t mean there’s less for you.
Be generous. Coming from a “scarcity mentality” only creates scarcity. Give others your praise, help others succeed by sharing your knowledge, your network, your caring, your time, talents, and treasures.
Cultivate a positive environment. Norman Vincent Peale said, “Change your thoughts and you change your world”. Thoughts are fed by everything around us: what we listen to, read, and watch; and by the people we hang out with.. You have the right to create an environment of abundance thinkers, books, tapes, pictures, words, and thoughts. Do it.
Get rid of what you don’t need. Holding onto “stuff” we don’t need feeds our fear of scarcity. Open up space in your physical, mental, and emotional environments for good stuff to flow in.
Help others less fortunate. Personally reach out to those who have less than you do…those who can’t see, read, hear, or walk, who have nowhere to sleep tonight. This helps put things in a bigger perspective, it expands your experience, it expands your world; it expands your gratitude.
Be gentle with yourself and others. Choose to assume the best– that you, and others, are doing the best they can, even when they’re not. Forgive yourself for what you don’t have, for what you haven’t done, and move on to the good stuff waiting for you. Being stuck in regret and guilt wastes your energy and talents. Be grateful for the lesson learned, and get over the rest.
Get your personal needs met. We each have individual, personal needs. These are not options. They are as necessary to us as water or air. They keep us emotionally and spiritually alive. If a need is not being met, a void exists within us, and we’ll look for things to fill the void. We may end up grasping for many things, feeling that we live in a world of scarcity. There are many assessments to help define your unique set of personal needs (if you are interested in using one of these, contact me). Once you know what you need to be and feel your best, you can start creating ways to have these needs met. The voids will disappear.
Daily affirm that you are a worthy and deserving person, who brings unique gifts and value to the world; and that the things you want are flowing to you. Every day, focus on what you want (NOT on what you don’t have!) Visualize it, plan for it, see it in Technicolor®, feel it, talk to it, make it come alive for you. Rev up your passion for it, and in time, you’ll joyfully experience “your cup running over”.
There truly is an abundance of all we want and need. Believe it, manifest it, be fully open to receive it. Because life’s too short to live it half-way!

If it were easy, everyone would do IT; everyone would have IT.
That “IT” is prosperity and we’re all trying to achieve that stage in our lives where wealth, health, success are a daily part of our lives.
So what’s the problem?
Why aren’t some of us living a prosperous life?
Read on, my friends…
1) CLARITY
Many people don’t know what they truly want in life. They have not clarified exactly what they desire and where they want to be within a year, 5 years even 3 months. Because they don’t know where they are going they drift along with the daily grind, totally forgetting that they want to attain true prosperity.
2) PATH
They are some that have a goal for their life, yet they do not know how to attain it. They go through the motions daily and never actually make a conscious decision to attain their goal.
3) STRUGGLE
Many are desperately trying to live a life of happiness, wealth and success. They are focused on achieving true prosperity but yet constantly find themselves struggling to attain it. It is this struggle that actually prevent them from being truly prosperous.
4) FEAR
False Evidence Appearing Real. This one 4-letter word prevents us from going forward to achieve all that we desire. What will our family think? Will our friends still like us? A very high percentage of persons fear success because of how it will affect us and our relationship with others.
5) CONDITIONING
As children and young adults our environment affects a great deal of our ‘conditioning’ and has a profound effect on the way we think, act and live. Our environment here could include our parents, our friends, television, politics, religion, school courses and our job. For example, the TV may constantly bombard us with images of prosperous persons as unhappy, as crooks or gangsters or as lonely or selfish. If we really believe this, who would want a lead a prosperous, successful life?
6) THE NORM
“I can’t be bothered. This is too much work. It’s too hard”. Some persons simply cannot be bothered to achieve prosperity. They live each day in a trance, in a numb existence, going along with the status-quo and have no desire to change their lives for the better.
7) OUT-GROW YOUR PEERS
Some people don’t want change. You may be hesitant to achieve your dreams, goals, you vision because once you do achieve true prosperity it may reduce your inventory of what is actually possible for you. It may mean that you grow beyond your partner, your friends and your family. What will that mean for you?
NEGATIVITY
Our lives are stuck by the negativity we are drawn to in our daily lives. A large percentage of persons want to out do their co-workers or friends with the amount and magnitude of problems that they have. Most of us live our lives in total lack and shortage and that prevents us from achieving true prosperity.
9) COURAGE
It takes courage to be prosperous. We need to focus our thoughts towards our vision of true prosperity and hold to that vision. Once we have the courage and the beliefs, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
10) BELIEFS
“It can’t happen to us. Prosperity is for other people. They were born with a silver spoon in their mouth”. We are programmed to think that being poor equals happiness. Our belief system totally affects how we live our lives. It is these beliefs that hold us back from our true potential and our true prosperity.
***********
Okay so now we’re aware of what are the top 10 roadblocks to attracting greater prosperity, let’s focus on what we can do about them…starting right now!
(a) The very 1st thing we have to do before we even start thinking about attracting more success, more prosperity and more of what we want is to figure out WHAT exactly do we want!
I know we all Think we know what we want, but if this is true why don’t we have it. We want a BMW Convertible, we want a 3000 sq ft house on 1 acre of land close to the golf course, we want money….
Okay so what do we need to change to get them?
Two things.
We need to get focused, and we need to have the belief that we will get them. We need to get really, really clear on what we want; we need to clarify what we desire then set the intention of how we would feel and what we would experience when we’ve achieved what we want.
It is wise to remember that anything we want should resonate with our true values of who we are. This makes it so much easier to attract.
Why do we need to struggle if we can make it effortless?
How can we figure out what we want?
There are a few ways that we can use that will allow us to get clear on what we DON’T want and therefore by contrast, by turning this around we can clearly see what we DO want!
(b) The prosperity mindset is what we desire to overcome the fear and the conditioning that are deeply embedded into our subconscious.
There are many programs and processes out there that can make us shift from that state of scarcity to a prosperity consciousness. We are in scarcity when we know how much we DON’T have; we’re in scarcity when we know what we DIDN’T do today…we’re in scarcity and lack when we think “not enough”
To get started now, there is a very powerful tool that you can use to increase the prosperity awareness in your life. It’s called the “Prosperity Journal” or a Grateful journal. Being grateful is a very dominant emotion that allows us to feel at one with the Universe and enables our desires to flow to us effortlessly.
If you don’t have or use a Prosperity Journal, start one today!
(c) We all need a Clear Plan of action; we need to set our rudder on course and focus on our destination ~ our vision.
Many of us in attempting to achieve our goals tend to get side-tracked. (I know I have!)
Not that we’re not serious or focused on what we want…but, you know how life is, don’t you?
Creating a powerful living vision as well as SMART goals to support this vision will propel you forward towards your desire for prosperity faster than anything I know.
(d) Use the Laws of the Universe to make it easier! If you’re tired of the struggle and want to make your prosperity come to you effortlessly, here’s a secret that few people know about. It like a short cut! It’s like a school crossing guard that helps children across the street!
The Law of Attraction can orchestrate everything you need to be, do and have in order for You to attract your desires….easily!
Think of it. When the children see the crossing-guard they feel safe and happy and know that all is well. When we use the Laws of the Universe to our benefit, all is taken care of. Our desires come to us exactly as we want, sometimes even better!
(e) Support and Accountability- of course YOU can do it on your own- you can attract greater prosperity, wealth, success, money, happiness…but how long will it take you? How difficult will it be for you to obtain all you’ve ever desired?
In many situations in order for us to achieve what we truly wish for, there is often some confusion and conflict. Why does this happen to us? It’s called Internal Resistance.
When that point of Internal Resistance is reached, we unconsciously tend to sabotage our early success and stop ourselves in our tracks from achieving more of what we desire. In short you are stuck!
“I can’t do this”.
“I’m not going to earn any more than this no matter how hard I work”.
“This will never happen”.
“I’m not yet ready for this”.
It is these Resistance thoughts that stop us from doing what we want and can often show up as procrastination or fear.
With a support partner or a life coach, you can overcome this fear, end procrastination and get moving towards the life of your dreams.
Wouldn’t you like to “walk your talk and live your dreams”? Finally?
The reason many of us don’t attract the prosperity we all desire is because we’re stuck. The reason we’re stuck is because we’re afraid to hire a coach.
Hiring a coach is simple. The 1st step to hiring a coach is finding one that resonates with you…one that you have heard on a teleclass, a CD, a radio interview. One whose articles you’ve read and in short, one who you like.
That coach needs to offer conditional consultations instead of free consultations otherwise that coach is going to want to sell you coaching rather than YOU deciding for yourself if you want to pursue coaching.
Hopefully you’ve gotten some ideas on how to get started on attracting greater prosperity into your life.
Now go be prosperous!
August 29th, 2008 Michaela Scherr Posted in Manifesting, Manifesting Abundance, Meditation, attracting abundance, manifesting money, positive affirmation No Comments »
What does it take to manifest abundance into someone’s life? For me manifesting joy takes no effort, there are so many simple things I get joy out of. As a matter of fact I lead quite an abundant simple life.
I’m talking more about big material things here like manifesting money - lots of it, business success, and living a contented life where everything’s taken care of.
Does attracting abundance take lots of meditation and positive affirmations or does it take a bit more than that? Is it as easy as setting an intention for abundance to materialize at our door step?
Well, meditation has, without a doubt, brought me inner peace and a change of perception. Positive affirmations set the mood for my day, and setting intentions enables me to goal set conceptually without getting caught up in every detail. These all work exceptionally well on a spiritual level.
What I do know that does work well in manifesting the big ‘stuff’ is: know what you want, focus, commitment, determination and the big one – do something. Also, if you’re not congruent with what you are trying to achieve, even if there’s a very, very tiny voice somewhere inside you wanting your attention, pay attention and listen. Work on what your inner voice is trying to tell you.
It may be a belief getting in the way. You might get all ‘fired’ up about an idea you have that’s totally new and just for an instant, you live your dream. What happens next takes a nanosecond. Doubt steps in, and fear and so the downward spiral begins until you’ve given up on the idea. This is an example of a negative belief getting in the way of what potentially could be a really, really great idea!
Your inner voice might also be telling you that you need to up-skill; meet more people; look more closely at what you truly value; or that it’s fear blocking your power to manifest. Sometimes we have a fear of not only failure but also fear of success.
On a more spiritual level manifesting abundance can take time, this depends of course on what it is you’re manifesting. As a matter of fact it can take an awful lot of time. An option would be to start something different, but what happens then is the wait for abundance begins…again…and possibly again.
Manifesting anything takes effort – sometimes a little and sometimes a lot, and then there are times ‘the guys upstairs’ (or maybe ‘the girls’ for you) deliberately place obstacles and blocks (including fear) in the way. This will test how serious, determined and creative you really are. It can be extremely demoralising and soul destroying to continually receive rejections for that book you want published, that CD you want to sing, that movie you’d like to star in. Have faith and trust in yourself that you can pull it off. You never know what’s around the corner.
If something doesn’t work, improve upon it, it may be that the only thing that needs changing is your perception. Get some coaching in – there are many types of coaching these days, there’s life coaching, business coaching, executive coaching, spiritual coaching, there’s me – transformational coaching, and many other types of coaching. Maybe get some meditation in.
There’s a flipside to all this manifesting. An expression I particularly love and has been true for me on occasion is ‘be careful what you wish for because you’re bound to get it’, and it may not be what you expect. Instead, your manifesting may bring an abundance of frustration and heartache with it.
Weigh up your wish list, look at what you’re trying to manifest with new eyes – and yes, ‘be careful what you wish for’, for it may not be what it seems.
Sometimes life can appear so complicated.

A wealthy person anticipates riches. Without anticipation you swim in a sea of uncertainty. With it, you participate in making your creative life a wealthy life.
A few days ago I decided to replace a person working for us who was chronically late.
Well, it’s done. Yesterday I hired someone who fulfills all the requirements of the job. And I’m thrilled about the change. It’s so gratifying to have someone who is eager and happy to learn and to help.
And guess what else I found. This person anticipates what needs to get done. What a great gift to be around someone who thinks ahead and does things without asking. That is key.
Anticipation and Participation go hand in hand. A Doer actively participates in every aspect of life. And the secret to full participation is to anticipate each new task by allowing it to appear in your mind.
This doesn’t mean that you don’t relax. In fact, the opposite is true. People in touch with the pulse of life have to be relaxed. Anticipation Is relaxing. Because you never have to look back and worry. You’ve silenced the worry-monger. You are marching towards your goal by anticipating each moment.
Always keep your goal in mind. This is key. The target of anticipation is your goal.
You have become an efficiency machine. Because you’re not wasting precious energy by procrastinating. Your mind, cleared of clutter, becomes a vessel for creative thinking. You are refreshed and rejuvenated, and you’re always looking forward, never back. You refuse to be on auto-pilot.
I don’t want to be on auto-anything. Those auto-pilot blinders cause the death of creativity. Beware and declare. Otherwise that sneaky auto-pilot might creep into your thoughts again. After all, you can get addicted to being a slave to the grave that you dig for yourself.
There’s no other way to live a life of wealth than to embrace what’s around the corner. By anticipating what’s needed. And participating to get the job done.
You have now conquered the fear that can whisper in your ear.
Anticipation leads to Creation and turns into Wealth. Just remember that order. You’re on your way to a life of prosperity and riches.
Now that I’ve gotten your attention, shift your gears and read something totally radical, totally out-of-the-box. I’ve got that something for you. And I bet you’ll be knocked off your feet as soon as you start inhaling these powerful words.

Now (not at the end of the year) is a good time to check in with your wealth goals. Notice I did not say career, work or money goals. Wealth is the abundance of anything.
If you are reading this, there is a pretty good chance that you have set goals you wanted to achieve this year either formally or in your head. I usually set quarterly goals that support the year goals, as well. Being specific about your wealth goals is definitely the most important step in the process. But it can’t stop there. You have got to be in action. The actions must be totally aligned with the goal. But in order to take the right action for your goal, your head must be thinking thoughts that align with the goal. If your head isn’t thinking like a wealthy person, how in the heck do you think you will ever be wealthy?
Quite frankly, I’m sick and tired of watching people struggle along their path to their wealth goals. I am very clear that it’s your personal perspective that causes you pain, rather than the events or the absence of events in your life. Now, I completely admit that I am the first to get irritated when I find myself in some money glitch. I get angry because I know better and it’s this emotional knee jerk reaction when I find that I want more money than I have. My emotional reaction is not at the money, but the fact that I even reacted to money. For goodness sakes, money is actually easy to attract or even to stumble upon. It is only our perspective that makes it hard or easy to obtain. When I get committed to acting like a powerful woman and start thinking like a wealthy person, I am surrounded by abundance of all things. My friends even tease me about how easy I manifest. But when I forget to act wealthy, it is downright painful.
I went off track there for moment, so let’s get back to evaluating where you are with your wealth goals. Let’s say you wanted to achieve a certain amount of sales in your business this year, say $500,000, you wanted to buy a duplex as a rental property, and you wanted to go on a three-week vacation to Europe. Maybe you also wanted to feel more at ease and trusting with regard to your relationship with money. It wouldn’t really serve you to set these goals and then check on them at the end of the year. You would need to constantly ask yourself, the following:
- Am I thinking like a person who thinks they are worthy of having big sales while staying in balance?
- Am I taking actions that would support making $500,000 in sales this year?
- Do I have an anxious feeling about money or am I in complete confidence that I will have all that I need?
- Am I using all of my resources to make this easy?
- Who else has expertise in this area?
- What are out of the box or off the beaten path ideas in relation to my goals?
- Who is keeping me accountable to what I say?
- How much attention do I give my goals each week (both in my mind and taking action)?
- Do I have systems in place to support $500,000 in sales?
- Do I have a plan of action for each goal?
- Does my plan work for me?
- What thought patterns do I still have that are not supporting my goal?
- What new practices or habits do I have to be fierce about practicing?
- Am I spending more time focused on the end results or perceived obstacles?
You can probably create more of your own empowering and clarifying inquiries to support you. You need to be willing to answer truthfully because I think it is easy to be dishonest with yourself and not know it. I’m not even talking about denial. There are just some things we can’t see when we are in the middle of it. You must be willing to have a bird’s eye view of the situation and your life. This is where a coach or partner is invaluable. They have an outside view, and they are not emotionally attached to your goal. They are objective (well, at least most of the time they are!).
At any point during the year you have to be willing to change your path. If you were driving to a wedding and knew you made a wrong turn, would you continue going in the wrong direction? No! You’d correct your course. Sometimes you may even have change the goal, but that’s a whole different topic. It is not to late to achieve a goal that you set for this year. Haven’t taken any action on the duplex goal? Maybe one of the obstacles is not having enough money for the down payment or closing costs. I guarantee, if you go out and look for duplex deal that fits your criteria, you will be motivated to find a way to create the money to do the deal. Wealthy people know there is always a solution. You have to have confidence that you will find the solution. From that perspective, you will start thinking of kinds of creative ideas to get the cash. You have to be willing to not be attached to the way the deal plays out. Just keep your focus on the goal and what this property will make for you, knowing you will only say yes to something that feels good.
Let’s say you are in a service business, like me. I do have learning products, but most of my revenue comes from me being in front of people, whether it’s on the phone coaching or teaching a live workshop. Honestly, I will not be set up for true wealth just by coaching people one on one. It means that my wealth would depend on those 10 people and it’s on a month-to-month basis. And, unless I plan on charging each client a million dollars each a year, my income is pretty limited. If I take a month off to go to Europe, then I don’t get paid. This is a great indicator that I need to think of a different path. So, now I put on my thinking cap and decide that I should put a bigger emphasis on creating & selling products, coaching and doing workshops with bigger groups and creating “Jeanna” in a box. Meaning more people have access to my coaching and teaching, without me having to be in front of people live 6 days a week.
The famous question that most seminars, books and coaches ask is still one of the best, “If you continue being and doing what you are doing now, will you get to where you want to go?” If so, will you feel good in the process? I know many years ago, when I was a workaholic, I could have reached my goals, but my personal life was suffering and relaxation was something I only dreamt of. So, that path had to change. One of the biggest ways to change your path to the desired goal is simply be willing to have no regrets about what you have or have not done thus far. “So what, now what?!” Is another great question? It means, get off the past, except to get the lessons learned to make things better now. Let it go and get present to this moment.
Many times, there are very valid reasons why our goals are still off in the distance. Not good or bad. For instance, a couple of years ago, my life was mostly focused on my personal life rather than my business. My business was still very much a passion but my relationship was getting most of the attention because it felt like a crisis. Therefore, there was less attention on other goals. Was there other ways to handle my situation? Of course! The point here is, get here, in this present moment, and choose how you want to move forward. It’s never too late, and you never miss your ship. Abundance is knowing that you have, and always will have, all that you need. It’s only your perspective that plays the worst tricks on your emotional state. Money is only one aspect of wealth, and I want you all to get your emotional charge off it. Money, goals and relationships are taken way too seriously. We can have fun with all of them. We kill off our creativity when we get really heavy and place too much importance on things.
Take some time this week to evaluate your path. Be willing to change your thinking and/or actions. Throw in some fun and get support from wherever you feel best. Lots of great things are ahead for you.

When you hear the words “abundance” and “prosperity”, what immediately comes to mind?Is it money, fulfilling relationships, a lovely house to live in, peace of mind, a career/vocation that expresses your gifts?
It may be all or none of those things. It may mean something else to you. But if you want to attract more prosperity and abundance into your life, no matter how you define them, then this article outlines 5 key ways to do so.
1. Understand Attraction Law
This is better known as the Law of Attraction, as defined by Abraham Hicks, states that “you attract whatever you give your attention and energy to, whether wanted or unwanted”.
So, if you’re curious about what you’re putting out there, look at what you are attracting, the visible results in your life. Knowing about and working with the the Law of Attraction will help you in manifesting, creating and attracting more abundance and prosperity in your life.
Once you understand it, there’s no turning back.
2. You get what you focus on
One of the key concepts in the Law of Attraction is that you get what you focus on, whether that be money, relationships, employment etc). So when you focus on having less, that is the experience you create for yourself.
Saying that “I hate my job” will just draw even more attention to the aspects of the job that you don’t like. Even if you look for another job, it’ll be with that negative energy.
Just wanting something isn’t enough, because you will still continue to think about what you don’t have. Always focusing on what you lack means that you don’t see the present and future opportunities, or begin to realise your true desires. You’re getting in your own way!
3. Clear your head
……….to allow you to focus more effectively. Our minds are full of “stuff”; old, tired and limiting beliefs, which don’t reflect who we are now, or who we want to become.
Set aside quiet time for yourself on a regular basis to get real clear about what you really want to attract in your life. Use this opportunity to ask yourself questions.
Ask yourself: “how can I create more prosperity and abundance in my life?”. Once your head is clear, you will allow the answers to come to you. Meditation is a great way to start clearing the mind.
4. Appreciate life’s abundance
Appreciating life’s abundance is another way to opening yourself up to accept more abundance and prosperity in your life. When you fully appreciate what you have in your life, the Universe has a way of giving you more.
Keep a gratitude journal and at the end of each day, write down everything that you appreciate in your life. You’ll begin to change your energy and vibration and become more internally aligned with what you want to create in your life.
5. Use prosperity affirmations
As you write your gratitude journal, it is an opportunity to write down prosperity affirmations as well. Affirmations are statements of acceptance that you use to manifest your destiny or what you want to create in your life. They are powerful, positive thoughts and words sent out to the universe.
If you want to use affirmations to create positive changes in your life, then you must first BELIEVE that this is possible. It shouldn’t be a half hearted “well, I’ll give this a go and see what happens”.
To make affirmations more effective, put as much positive energy in writing and saying them as possible. Visualize what you want to create and let this inform your prosperity affirmations.
When you cease operating from a position of lack, you start to create the fertile conditions to make more informed decisions, identify greater opportunities and attract more abundance and prosperity into your life.

The Self That Knows & Gives Love

These are prosperity and abundance affirmations to change your old mental programming of scarcity to abundance. Use affirmations when your mind is most relaxed like during meditation. You can use the Manifest Abundance Guided Meditation. Other recommended times are upon waking up in the morning and upon sleeping at night when you are between sleep and wakefulness. Claude M. Bristol in The Magic of Believing, recommends looking in the mirror and into your own eyes when saying affirmations.

I, _______________ is a part of this abundant universe. Its abundance is rightfully mine.
I, _______________ deserve prosperity, genuine love, and a wonderful life.

It is arguable that the definition of wealth is the free and unrestricted use of all of the things which may be necessary for you to advance in the direction of your dreams and aspirations thus attaining your fullest mental, spiritual, and physical prosperity.
You have a right to wealth because it is simply a desire for you to have a richer fuller and more abundant life.
We live for the advancement of body, mind and soul and there is no reason to limit our capacities. Many people see wealth as greed. Ironically, poverty can and will frustrate your relationships with the spirit, people, and those you love. Accordingly, giving is one of the highest forms of love.
If you are complacent, stay where you are and don’t exercise your talents. However, if you want more out of life, we will give you some keys to prosperity.
The world is plentiful with resources. You do not need: money to start, special talents, or the perfect business location. Many people become rich without any of this.
Become willing to change. There is plenty of opportunity. Creativity, innovation, and abundance will go to the people who embrace life and not reject it. Nature has an inexhaustible source of riches and soul advancement is vital. Moreover, the last 100 years has shown more life improvements that the last 2000 years of civilization.
We will now show you the first secret of life. This key to success can be yours if you simply accept the following statement. Just take it as fact, and the world will begin to move with you.
THOUGHT PRECEEDS FORM
You conceive of your desire, you believe it will happen, and you retrieve and receive your opportunities from the universe. As a rule, man originates thought that becomes plans of the mind. Man can communicate his focused thought and mental images throughout the universe.
Your mind is the center of being. The presence of the universal spirit can be allowed into your mind, and your thoughts mixed with a thankful heart directed toward your inner presence can project into the world. These ideas will send off into the world like a letter of request. If practiced, the desires you have will be met. Do not focus on or speak of failure or poverty. Your truth is health, riches, success, and happiness.
The universe wants you to have all that your need. Your motives should include helping your self and others and not hurt other people. Your motives should not be colored in greed, ego, pride, lust, competition, hate, resentment, arrogance. Your desires must be propelled by love, gratitude, faith, confidence, mental focus, truth, acceptance, creativity, positive expectation, clear planning, & giving more love and value than you take.
TO BEGIN YOUR PROCESS OF PROSPERITY
Brainstorm and clarify in you mind exactly what you want and how you will achieve it. Hold the picture of the moment you have completed the achievement with positive certainty. Claim it as yours, claim the picture of success as “FACT”. Keep your mind conscious of the universal presence by being grateful. If you can not be grateful, begin to think of your ability to walk, talk, see, hear, travel, speak, etc. The simplest of freedoms are easily overlooked. People will soon not recognize your new outlook and serenity. Remember, that you must exercise this mental picturing and thankfulness every day for at least a month. After a month, you will not believe the difference in your attitude.
Do not be scared or ashamed to ask for more than you need. Poverty and self sacrifice are not pleasing to anyone. We believe that there is a universal spirit of which unlimited abundance flows. We make the profound connection to the spirit by developing a strong feeling of thankfulness for the gifts we receive. Can you have happiness with a bitter heart? Can you have real faith when you are ungrateful? If so, good luck. If you want to feel that all is possible, then keep reading.
Remember times when you got what you wanted and became arrogant. After you got what you wanted or got out of a jam, you abandoned your connection to spirit. When good things happen to you is the EXACT time that you should practice having a grateful heart to continue the flow of riches. Gratitude dispels doubt, keeps you connected, and prevents dissatisfaction. Continue to fix your attention on health, love, success, and good fortune. Your faith will be renewed; it may not happen over night, but soon after using this simple 5 minute a day practice, you WILL see and feel results.
If you have trouble with certain negative triggers, then eliminate them or avoid them for a while. You are working on yourself, and it is OK to take care of your well-being first which will please all around you. This is putting your health first i.e. your spiritual health.
Your desires and mental blueprint should be very specific. For example, you may write out on a piece of paper a personal agreement to yourself:
I, John Doe, Jr., will have a million dollar business 4 years from today. I will sell creative WIDGETS. I will give the best service and value to my clients. My products and services have outstanding benefits to my customers. I will do all of these things, work hard, and be persistent. I will not give up. People will be glad to pay me for my services because they benefit the customer. I will gladly accept payment and do what is needed to receive the funds.

Spend each day contemplating the million dollar business. Form a joyful mental image of you being paid in full ONE MILLION DOLLARS FOR THE BUSINESS at that very moment of completing the transaction.
You must engage life to secure each days small successes with faith and action. After mentally picturing your vision and reading your personal agreement, complete the process with the words “THANK YOU FOR THE BLESSING AND THANK YOU FOR PROTECTING ME” This will send it into the universe like a request that must be granted.
You need only use your willingness on yourself and not upon others. You can use willingness to force yourself to think about your dreams. Every thought of doubt or poverty is a waste. Your creative ideas WILL be a success when you have a strong desire that your are willing to go the distance to fulfill.
Do not tell the same old people of your plans. If you tell enough bitter people about your idea, their collective doubt may doom your dreams. Surround yourself with insightful professionals. Do not share about you difficulties or failures (unless in a secure group). Interest yourself in becoming rich in life! Focus on optimistic conversation.
As for your plans, make lists of things to do and begin doing them one by one with faith and action. It may take a year to complete, but we must begin somewhere. Do each days work efficiently without haste. Do it right the first time, and you need not fix it later.
Don’t force anything. The creative energies will unfold the correct result for you. You merely need to organize your affairs so that you may receive the success. Overall, action sprinkled with faith is the recipe for success. In sum, put the faith, vision, and purpose behind your every action to accelerate your reaching abundance.
FIND OUT WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO AND BE!
Write out a list of 20 careers of interest. Keep adding or subtracting from the list. Over time, you will have a few things left because the supreme power will guide you to your talents. The list over time will become more specific such as: to become the best sports writer. It doesn’t matter how you start, just begin. Remember, something you enjoy and are good at doing combined with desire to become the best in this field will guarantee that you become what you love.
Without boast, you must impress on others that you are advancing all that come in contact with you. Speak of your life and business as getting better each day. Act and feel as you are already rich in life. Incorporate humility mixed with poise, faith, confidence, and self-esteem. Only speak when necessary, but your strong character and faithful confidence will attract the best people into your life.
If you can‘t leave your job, then do what you can in the evenings or weekends toward your dream. Use your job skillfully to move in the direction that you want. Your contacts at work may lead to a better job. You must be able to clarify your dream to others. You must be able to ask for and receive what you want out of life. Your plans and requests are traditionally answered by the universal power in the form of another person being available to assist you. Be READY to tell them what you need, and do not be ashamed to ask for a fair deal!
In conclusion, times are only as good as your perception. Just when you think you are failing is the exact time to continue your gratitude, focusing on your goals, and ACTION! During your moments of doubt is when the best is ready to unfold. Even if the result isn’t exactly as you want, something better is very close, and you have only been protected until something better comes along.
Kindest Regards, George

Ancient wisdom from many cultures, and cutting-edge scientific experiments performed in modern labs both point to the incredible power of observing the present moment. Tapping into this simple practice can set you free from all obstacles and empower you to manifest everything you desire.
Most people spend their time living in a past that is forever gone and a future that hasn’t even been realized yet. For some reason we seem intent on avoiding the present moment with all manner of daydreams and self-distractions.
However, when we allow our minds to be free from regret and anxiety, and focus clearly on the present moment, we have access to the virtually limitless power of mindfulness. By simply deciding to be aware of our bodies, thought processes, and surroundings without getting lost in our internal chatter, we open the door to an abundance of new possibilities.
Enhanced physical energy, the ability to focus our attention more sharply and think more clearly, and a heightened sense of intuition are only a few of the benefits we gain as we practice daily mindfulness. By mindfulness, I simply mean the activity of paying attention to what we are doing in the present and letting our minds flow freely without participating in the “mental movies” that make up much of our day.
You can begin this sacred yet simple exercise immediately just by taking account of what you are doing right now.
Feel the physical sensation of your body in the chair.
Allow yourself to hear the sounds around you without becoming distracted.
Read the words on this screen and watch your mind flow without interruption.
Give it a try. You’ll find yourself slipping back into a state of distraction after only a few seconds.
It’s amazing how difficult it can be for our minds to simply stop chattering away at us and pay attention for as little as five minutes! But with practice it becomes easier, and your whole life begins to open up in a way you never imagined possible.
Key to this entire process is the ability to observe your thoughts as they occur and not become attached to them. Your conscious mind flows like a never-ending stream, and a big part of its job is to identify and analyze everything in your world; but you don’t have to identify with or be influenced by every thought you have.
In fact you can choose to entertain only those thoughts that empower your purpose! But that will be the topic of another article.
For now I want to emphasize the practice of stepping back from your thoughts and becoming immersed in your present reality as it unfolds. In addition to wonderful improvements such as greater energy, focus, and love of life, I believe this practice further empowers you to define your personal destiny.
Through Quantum mechanics, researchers have found that a human being can affect the behavior of electrons and atoms by the mere act of observing them! Consider the astonishing ramifications of this statement.
Science has proven that we can directly influence physical reality with thought alone. And the daily practice of being mindful and aware of the moment makes it far easier for us to focus our intentions as we observe the natural flow of life.
