Manifesting with the Law of Attraction
You may have thought that you struck gold when you first became aware of the Law of Attraction. Learning that every desire you ever wanted is yours simply by asking the universe to give it to you is nothing short of amazing. The proof of its validity backed, not by theory, but by science. Quantum physics and the universal laws explain that everything is made of energy. Everything. Therefore, your thoughts and desires are simply non-physical realities that have yet to be manifested in the physical. All that is required, to manifest the non-physical seed of thought to a physical reality in your life, is to nurture that seed with your focused energy. The only restrictions are that you don’t focus on what you don’t want or you will get more of that; and that you allow what it is that you desire to come to you.
If you are like me, you thought, wow! This is too good to be true. I have been struggling and worrying for so many years when all I had to do to create the life of my dreams was to ask and receive.
And so you began. You did the first and most imperative requirement for any truth to be realized, you believed. You learned all you could about this ‘new,’ cutting-edge philosophy that, actually, has been around for thousands of years. You read the books, listened to the CDs and found like-minded others in order to learn more, and master this skill of attracting. You asked. Waited. And looked for the results.
And it worked, sort of, but not quite, and certainly not every time. Everything you wanted didn’t seem to come quite as easily as you thought it was supposed to. Some things came. That was amazing and cool. However, many things did not. That was a bit frustrating. You still aren’t driving that dream car you envisioned up to your million-dollar home or running a successful and thriving business. Like you, I thought, ‘Why is this not working for me? Did I falsely believe, even though my intuition so strongly supported me? Why does it work sometimes and not all of the time? What am I missing?’ After hundreds of books, programs, discussions and personal experiences, I am ecstatic to report that the Law of Attraction and its foundation are real. I have seen it work over and over and over again. You can create and manifest everything you ever truly desire in life. No exceptions. Every time. But, here’s the information that you may be missing (that I was missing!). The Law of Attraction works as long as you have done three imperatives things first. Like any amazing process, there are key elements that must be in place before all circuits can fire. Just like an airplane can take you anywhere in the world you want to go, as long as there are key elements acknowledged and accounted for before you take off. Assuming all the mechanics are good, you still have to know where you are starting from, have a plan for where you want to go and have someone or something that agrees with that plan to take you there. If any one of those elements is missing or compromised, you may not get to where you want to go, and certainly not in the timeframe you may have anticipated. The Law of Attraction is no different.
There are three primary steps, what I call phases, that must come first before the Law of Attraction can be 100% successful. These three phases are not complicated or foreign. They are extremely simple and natural. However, when something is simple that doesn’t mean it is easy. Since most of us were guided away from this natural knowing from the time we were born, it is not easy to change what we have been taught for so many years. Expanding and evolving takes time and patience. This, in fact, is the most important thing you must know. The Law of Attraction is a process. It takes time to become the deliberate creator of your life. As Abraham, one of the modern pioneers of this law so eloquently says, “You never get it wrong, because you never get it done.” Be easy with yourself and allow the journey and the process to unfold.
The process is this. The first requirement in being a deliberate creator is acknowledging where you are starting. Just like the airplane pilot must know where the plane is taking off from in order to know how to get to the desired destination. You must tap into where you are right now. You are there for a reason. You are always the creator of your life - be it deliberate or by default. You may not consciously know why you are where you are, but parts of you in your subconscious do know. In fact, those parts have manifested exactly what they desired. Simply imposing your conscious desires on the other 88% of your mind, cannot work. You have to start with where you are.
The second requirement of being a deliberate creator and allowing the Law of Attraction to work is articulating what you desire based on the totality of your life; accounting for all segments. Your life is divided into multiple areas of living — called environments. You don’t choose one environment to create, and leave all the others to fend for themselves. You create for all areas simultaneously. If you desire increased responsibility at your job, you don’t forget that you also love and need your pastimes or that you want time with your family. You must take into account all your environments to ensure you are not creating conflicting intentions that end up sabotaging your focus and canceling out everything you think you are creating.
The third requirement is clearing the slate for pure, focused energy. There is a wonderful analogy that explains the importance of this missing element. Most people know that when you cook, there are multiple things that must be in place to ensure an amazing result. If a professional chef buys all the best ingredients, has an incredible recipe, and has access to all the best utensils and appliances, but uses a dirty bowl to mix, no matter what that chef does, the meal is ruined. It cannot work. If you start creating from a bowl that is caked with old food (ideas, habits, beliefs and behaviors), no matter what you attempt to create on top of it, it is tainted. This is the same as creating your life. You cannot create what you desire if you have not cleared away what is already in your bowl. The way I found to remove those blocks is to go where those blocks are structured - in the subconscious mind. Through the use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), the blocks can be addressed, embraced and released leaving a clean slate for your pure, focused energy.
By combining four philosophies into one process (universal laws, the Nine Environments of Holistic Living, NLP and the Law of Attraction) and taking into account where you are now, deliberate creation is absolutely possible and the Law of Attraction really works!
And, remember, this is all a process. You don’t learn this and then, poof, you are a master. You must give yourself time to practice and learn. The key is that you cannot go through the process until you know the process is needed. So, now you know! Enjoy the amazing journey ahead.

I have taken my favorite elements out of all the literature and teachings I’ve ever read and practiced, and insights I’ve come to though my own personal experiences on the path, and formulated these 8 Principles for Prosperity. I also encourage you to make your own list of prosperity principles based on what works for you. May these 8 principles light the fire to manifest more of your heart’s desires!
(From my experience … If you truly, wholly, fully integrate these eight principles, you have the “inner state” to create anything you desire.)
1. Prosperity comes through communication. Communicate with the world around you to expand your prosperity … through love and appreciation. You cannot experience ultimate abundance without realizing your connection to all things. As you realize we are all One, this becomes a natural part of the path to your prosperity.
2. What you appreciate in life appreciates (through the Law of Attraction). Start appreciating everything you have in your experience. Stop and jot down the things in your life that you appreciate from time to time, even on a daily basis if you are so inclined. Instead of complain about the things you don’t have, appreciate what you do have. The more you find things to appreciate the more rich you become, inwardly and outwardly. This is affirming your abundance. And employing the Law of Attraction on your behalf.
3. Learn how to consciously command what you want from the Universe (as creator). When you have a belief that keeps you in lack, you can use the power of DESIRE and INTENTION to manifest your desire. It then matters less what you believe possible for yourself or what has been your past experience.
4. The past does not exist. Your past is a figment of your imagination. It has no real meaning other than the meaning you assign it. You are one with any part of your past when you think about it … and you create more of it in the NOW. So think about the past as an eternal stream of “practice takes” that allow you to “get it right” in this moment! Only energize the elements of the past that serve your expansion into the prosperous reality you are now allowing and hence creating to be there.
5. The goal is the joy of the journey, not the result. Keeping that focus keeps you centered in the NOW moment where your true wealth can be revealed and expressed, through an endless myriad of expressions and reflections that the Universe wants to show you. This is the path of letting go, and allowing all to exist as it is. Your joy comes from simply being who you are … an infinite and abundant creator.
6. Prosperity is a “feeling place.” Not an outward experience or event. They are the reflections of how you have been feeling or flowing your Source Energy (as creator … that is all you do — flow energy). When you get that it’s all about the feeling of things, that creates anything, you’ve got it.
7. The Law of Giving and Receiving. What you give of your Self you receive back in manifestation. The importance here is HOW you give, not what you give. When you come from a place of abundant giving you receive abundance in return. When you give from the place of limitation or lack (ie. expecting something in return as a pay off) you are given more representations of lack and limitation. This can also be perceived as thinking thoughts or taking actions based on FEAR or those on LOVE. The former yields poverty consciousness, the latter, prosperity consciousness.
8. You are Worthy of goodness, love and abundance. This is the most important principle. For with it, you will realize your infinite nature. It is the foundation for creating everything you can ever desire. That’s why it is last. So you’ll remember with the most impact. Embrace that thought, if you forget everything else, and your abundance will continue to expand. Allow that thought to permeate your entire being, by affirming it as often as you must, no matter how you feel. Know you are worthy just because of who you are … a creator made in the image of the Infinite. That is who you are and will always be, eternally. So rejoice!

All of us were created with an innate inner wisdom which guides our lives, serves as an inner “truth meter” and helps us to make important decisions at critical turning points in our lives. Some call this natural gift intuition, spiritual guidance or “gut feelings”.
Each of us connects to intuition in our own unique ways. Those with artistic or musical gifts may call upon their muse to inspire them with creative ideas. Those whose work involves great physical or mental endurance may connect with their inner wisdom by challenging themselves deeply to break through the barriers that usually stand between themselves and their inner gifts. Some of us may live very busy lives with little time to tune into our inner guidance, but our dreams serve as messengers to share with us the important information we may have tuned out in the midst of a busy day.
Our intuition is a profound gift which connects our embodied physical self with our divine spiritual essence. The soul can communicate with our embodied self through this line of light, and we can develop this inner connection over time through meditation, prayer, and the desire to know ourselves more deeply.
Our intuition can be of great benefit at all times in our lives, and especially during times of great stress or difficulty. In situations where we are facing unanticipated challenges such as the loss of a loved one or an illness, many intense emotions arise from within us. Our habitual supports are removed or shaken, which can cause us to feel unmoored, adrift, without anything to hold onto.
Our intuition can act as a guiding compass, pointing us instinctively towards the supports we need to get through the difficulties we are facing. When our minds fail us because we feel overwhelmed, the voice of our inner wisdom speaks clearly and will repeat itself as often as necessary.
If we are accustomed to being in control of our lives, and then suddenly are faced with a situation we cannot manage, we may feel frightened and desperate because our usual methods of coping no longer are working. Intuition however, will always work, even in the direst of circumstances, because our embodied human self in the physical world is always connected with our larger spiritual self.
In a time of challenge or crisis, our spiritual support systems are activated from the spiritual realms. Our connection with intuition or guidance is strengthened, and those loving beings in the spiritual realms that watch over us and guide our lives provide extra assistance.
If we have become accustomed to discounting our inner wisdom, or have simply shut down the intuitive parts of ourselves through years of neglect, it may feel as though we cannot find the thread of light that would re-connect us to our source. It is important to understand that no matter how disconnected we become from our divine inner wisdom, it is always present and available to us. Even if we have erected barriers to shut out our inner guidance for a time, these can removed by our diligent prayer and intention.
If we have been disconnected from ourselves for a very long time, the process of reconnecting will often bring up old emotions, thoughts and memories that we may have hidden from ourselves that we were not ready to deal with. During this re-balancing phase, it is helpful to participate in some kind of regular spiritual or emotional support system that can help stabilize our inner connection with spirit.
One of the most challenging aspects of the healing process is remembering that emotions and memories from the past are coming up in order to be healed and released. A support system can help us to anchor in the strength of our inner being, to allow the emotions and feelings to pass through us and to release from our body, mind and spirit.
As this cleansing process happens, intuition and inner wisdom are naturally strengthened, for there are fewer barriers between ourselves and our spirit. This deeper inner connection can provide a source of wisdom, freedom, empowerment and comfort during difficult times, and will sustain us throughout life with greater love, joy and peace. Inner wisdom is a great gift, and is intended not only to bless our individual lives, but to share with others to bless all of life by our connection with the divine.

More and more the term Law of Attraction is gaining publicity and becoming known to mainstream America. The big question I’m always being asked is “Is it real and does it work?”
The answer is a definitive YES, if you understand the fundamental principles of the attraction process and how to accurately apply them to get the results you want.
The Law of Attraction Is Already Working for You
The first thing you need to understand is the Law of Attraction has been, currently is and always will be working for you. It’s a complete part of your life just like breathing. The Law of Attraction is always in play, believe it or not, bringing into your life the things you focus your attention on with the greatest clarity.
In the most simple terms the Law of Attraction is defined as “Like Attracts Like,” meaning “you get what you think about” whether your thoughts are conscious or unconscious, negative or positive. Although this statement is correct, I define the Law of Attraction as follows, giving you the basis to intentionally attract what you want into your life:
“Anyone who regularly concentrates with desire, belief and expectancy on a particular thing, condition or circumstance will manifest it into their life.”
Making Your Thoughts Determine Your Experience
The most important aspect of intentionally using the Law of Attraction to get what you want is understanding that it takes more than just thinking to make it work; it takes desire, belief and expectancy. You must not only have the desire to focus on what you want, but you must have the desire to take action to achieve your objective.
Next, you must have belief. When intentionally manifesting, you must believe in yourself, believe in your right to have what you seek and believe that it is possible for you to obtain it, without question.
And third, you must trust in your belief while having a genuine expectation that you will obtain your desire, even when you are unsure how it will manifest. The “how” is not your concern; your goal is to expect without reason or justification that you will obtain what you desire.
When you combine focusing your attention on what you want with desire, belief and expectancy, you unleash the power of the law and begin to command it.
Experience the Law of Attraction Yourself
The Law of Attraction is real and it does work. And, to repeat myself, it’s been an active part of your life since you arrived here. It’s not rocket science, there’s nothing mystical about it and anyone can use it to their greatest advantage. The challenge we face as humans is we make this “process” much harder than it is. So let’s simplify it!
There are three steps to getting the law to work for you:
First, determine your desire. Identify what you want, be crystal clear about it and get it down on paper. You have to make sure your intention is positive and absolutely focused on your desire. And you have to be able to put your desire into words in a way that will make the Law of Attraction work to your greatest advantage.
Second, you must align with your desire. In order to become aligned with your desire, you must “feel” good about what you want. After you put your intention down on paper, read it out loud and see how it makes you feel. If you feel good, then you know you have clearly aligned with what you want. It you don’t feel good, then you either do not believe it is possible for you to obtain or you weren’t crystal clear defining what you want.
The third and final step is to permit your desire to manifest. At this point you must expect that you will receive that which you want. There can be no doubt of any kind, just expectation that you will receive your desire. When you think about your desire from this point on, always picture yourself “already” having it and enjoy how it makes you feel.
Be Humble and Grateful
As you learn and practice how to use the law correctly you will begin to bring into your life the things, conditions and circumstances you want.
When you start to use it, be patient with yourself and your progress. It may take a bit to get the hang of it, but I promise you once you understand how it works for you, your life will change for the better in the most amazing ways.
Second, be humble and grateful. Be grateful for all that you currently have as well as all you will (and do) receive. Respect the power of Law of Attraction and openly share it with others.
The Law of Attraction is for everyone, just like the air we breathe. Use it often, use it openly and most of all, use it wisely.

The feng shui tradition teaches that wealth and prosperity require the correct attitude and conditions. You struggle with prosperity when there are obstacles to the flow of chi in your home or workplace. Removing obstacles and freeing energy is part of applying feng shui. Prosperity is not just about having money or things, it is about achieving a consistent feeling of abundance and security. The spiritual view of abundance is not simply about financial wealth, but about abundance in all good things in life: family, health, balance.
Whatever your goals may be, feng shui is a tool to help you reach them. Your environment affects your thought patterns. If the environment remains static, you are likely to get bogged down as well. If you want to achieve wealth and prosperity you need an environment that works with you, not against you. This is where feng shui comes in. When energy is moving freely, it can carry you forward towards your goals. You want an environment that reflects who you are and where you are going, that embodies an intention to action. Your environment should be symbolic of the prosperity you want.
Ironically, one of the first steps in using feng shui to bring prosperity is removing clutter in your life and your environment. Extra stuff that blocks doors and windows, old clothes and furniture collecting dust mites, can stymie you. feng shui instructs you to remove these obstacles and free your space. Dead plants, broken furniture, unfinished projects do not contribute to expanding your wealth and well-being, but instead hold negative energy. Clutter is anything that is unfinished, unresolved, unused. Using feng shui, you address the clutter to free yourself. While clutter slows down chi energy, sometimes the energy in your environment can be moving too fast, like money flying out the door. Feng shui principles help restore balance between these two troublesome scenarios.
Feng shui involves not only removing obstacles but adding positive energy. Items that bring good energy contribute to prosperity. Positive inspirational objects and symbols of wealth, from coins to family photos, can contribute to creating the right kind of energy in your home. Feng shui principles guide you in adding the colors, objects and special features to your home and workplace that contribute to prosperity. Feng shui even identifies the “wealth corner” in your home, a place that needs to be kept orderly and clean and designed to bring positive, prosperous thoughts to mind.
In adding positive symbols and energies to your environment, you are not focusing on what you do not have, or on a feeling that you do not have enough. Wanting and feeling unsatisfied do not contribute to prosperity. With feng shui you are focusing on gratitude, which creates a sense of abundance. Feng shui shows you how to surround yourself with symbols of prosperity and wealth and full your environment with positive, forward-moving energy that will help you realize your goals.

Romance is in the air - especially during the month of February. But for many people, romantic relationships seem unattainable or current love connections lack the sparks they once created. Feng Shui, the ancient art of object placement to enhance energy flow through a space, is gain-ing attention as a powerful tool for improving all kinds of relationships.
“Feng Shui can make a marked difference in people’s lives,” says Linda Binns, founder of the Feng Shui Success Institute and author of Feng Shui for Your Relationships: Changing Your Envi-ronment to Create Better Relationships. “But before you start moving things around or making changes to your environment, it’s important to clarify exactly what you want to change.”
Binns notes that this process, which she calls “setting your intention,” is a crucial first step that will guide your subsequent actions. ” Perhaps you want to strengthen or rekindle the flame of an existing relationship. Perhaps you want to attract an exciting new romantic partner to your life. Perhaps you want to find a life partner with which to share the future. While there can be a variety of issues or scenarios, it is important to begin by considering your current situation and recognizing what you would like to change.”
After setting a clear intention, Binns recommends a variety of actions that can enhance the flow of positive energy in the home, creating a more conducive environment in which to achieve your desires. A few of her basic tips include:
Binns says that these are among the basic steps that help set the stage for romance. She details these and other strategies in her new book and offers specific guidelines on which portions of a home are especially important when seeking to create or improve various types of relationships.
“Let’s face it, our relationships do not always go as smoothly as we would like,” she says. “Whether we’re dealing with our partner, children, coworkers, friends or even mailman, our interactions with others can be tricky. As we struggle to make things work, often spending con-siderable time and emotional energy to figure out why certain relationships seem so difficult, many people fail to look at their environment as a factor in the way they manifest their lives. Yet for those who become familiar with the principles and practice of Feng Shui, the results can be remarkable.”

I’ve listened to a lot of people concerning meditation. First, let’s recognize that there are all kinds of meditation. The problem that I’ve encountered is that people have trouble getting into meditation and staying with it because they don’t know how to take the benefits with them. This guide is meant to help you meditate for instant self control and focus in any situation.
Your Head Knowledge: Intention
When you exercise, the results you want are to be healthier, shapelier, and stronger. When you eat right, the results you want are to be healthier with the necessary fuel reserves for all your strenuous activities. Altogether, these activities make you resistant to aging while helping you to concentrate, perform, and think better.
The actual purpose of meditation is to focus all of your energy, experience, and learning that you’ve gathered towards your specific intention. Every kind of meditation should provide you with specific intention – or at least it should.
For example, in martial arts chi kung meditation, we build bioenergy (Chi) in our outer extremities through exercise. In martial arts meditation, we take that bioenergy and channel the circulation through the energy vessels through focused intent.
In turn, our meridians become energized and can be used for even more focused martial arts practice. As you see, “forging our bodies in the fire of our spirits” is not just Chinese Folklore; through this feedback mechanism of exercise and meditation, this is what really happens.
Intention: the key to Meditation
There are all kinds of meditations for raising the consciousness to shape reality like the Kabbalah and remote viewing/influencing. Other esoteric meditations like Transcendental Meditation help the practitioners become “siddhis” or accomplished ones, so they accomplish the focused intent of invisibility, levitation or infinite strength, etc.
There are mainstream kinds that raise the consciousness for remote healing like Emotional Freedom Techniques (which takes advantage of the higher guage symmetry of the energy meridians as in chi kung).
All kinds of fascinating things can be accomplished by raising the consciousness. The most common thread between all of them is focused intention. You can go to all the fancy meditation retreats and take all the classes, but what will you take with you once you return to the real world? How will that experience serve you in real life?
Let’s face the facts: Those more advanced accomplishments take time, something you feel you may not have. From what I’ve experienced, most people just want to take a few meditation or yoga classes here and there when they have time on a vacation, then they hope that experience will somehow provide the control that they need when taking on a chaotic world with so much crisis at hand. Most of the time, that meditation retreat becomes nothing more than a beautiful memory.
I believe you want more than that.
Your Heart Knowledge: How to program yourself to relax
Different schools of meditation all have different methods of keying the relaxation response. Some experts advise that you find a quiet, comfortable place at a certain time of the day as you touch your fingers together in a certain way.
What they’re all trying to do is get you into a routine of trained autonomic relaxation, but it’s just not practical if they don’t tell you how to take that experience with you wherever you go. What if you’re in a noisy, uncomfortable place and your hands are full at rush hour, but you need to maintain calm, collected focus to find your way through busy traffic - then suddenly there’s a crash in front of you?
Not to worry: There is a common set of autonomic relaxation responses that most people have forgotten. Because part of our culture is based on stress, we’ve been trained away from our natural abilities since grade school.
Let’s face a discouraging fact: There are no academic requirements for relaxation and focused concentration classes to deal with stress in school or life in general, yet academic officials expect kids to “deal with it” (by taking drugs).
The following set of relaxation responses are keyed through natural, deep breaths towards the diaphragm or solar plexus. Here’s how to easily slide into relaxation mode:
1. Breathe deeply and naturally.
Remember to take deep, natural, slow breaths only through your nose towards the solar (celiac) plexus as you perform each relaxation response. Your nose is your natural filter to pollutants. Remember to breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Feel your breath being drawn deep into your lungs by your stomach muscles and diaphragm.
Your deep breathing keys all of the responses, so they all fall into place. By training these responses you learn to relax automatically.
The solar plexus is the bundle of nerves that cause people the most trouble when trying to relax because they breathe incorrectly, so they have shallow breathes or hyperventilate. When you breathe deeply and naturally using your stomach muscles, the solar (celiac) plexus becomes your ally in maintaining control.
Even if your stomach muscles tense up in a “fight or flight” situation, you’re still using them to breathe correctly and act accordingly.
2. Hold your back in an upright posture.
Standing or sitting in this position helps keep you aware and awake during your relaxation, so you create control over your autonomic responses. If you must lay down, you can use a pillow under your back to hold a naturally straight posture. (Preferably, this exercise should be done in an upright position.) Breathe deeply and naturally.
3. Relax your shoulders.
The first thing I see people do when asking them to hold an upright posture is that they tense their shoulders. Relax your shoulders in order to relax the brachial plexus on both sides of your neck. Tension in the shoulders leads to tension in the neck, then tension in the head which leads to stress ailments like headaches and dizziness. Make the bundle of nerves around your neck relax, and they will help you relax. Breathe deeply and naturally.
4. Hold your head up, loosely.
Feel as if your head is supported by a string from above. Your head is upright, but feels free as if it is floating. This response allows enhanced, circulation of fluids and subtle energies going to and from your head. Breathe deeply and naturally.
5. Relax your vision.
Relax your focus as if gazing blankly along a distant horizon of the ocean. Breathe deeply and naturally.
6. Relax your jaw.
Allow your jaw to relax by letting it drop slightly. Coupled with steps 4 and 5 above, these actions relax cranial nerves 1 to 5 which allow your neural patterns to slow down, thus allowing you to further relax. Breathe deeply and naturally.
7. Place the tip of your tongue gently against the roof of your mouth.
The tongue should be relaxed, but not touching the teeth. The relaxed tip of the tongue should be on or near the center of the palate (between soft and hard palates). This action is easier when the jaw is slightly dropped, another reason for step 6. Breathe deeply and naturally.
According to Chinese chi kung theory: “..when the tongue touches the roof of the mouth cavity, yin and yang vessels (yin in front, yang in back) are connected and the (chi circulation) circuit is complete. This tongue touch is called ‘Da Chiao’ or building the bridge. The tongue acts like a switch in an electrical circuit…” (”Nei Dan,” Ch. 3, p. 48, Chi Kung Health and Martial Arts by Dr. Yang Jwing-Ming.)
You may say that you’re not into chi kung meditation, so why do step 7? In fact, this is a natural, albeit, subconscious response by everyone throughout the day; we’ve all known since birth to “complete the circuit” in this manner, but a stressful culture trains unnecessary stretching and and tensing of the tongue and surrounding oral muscles which causes chi stagnation. This can lead to chronic physical and mental ailments.
In Chinese Medical Chi Kung theory, your tongue is an extension of your heart. When you relax your tongue, you relax your heart. Breathe deeply and naturally.
Your Deep Breathing is Key
Remember, your deep breathing keys all of the relaxation responses at once. All you’re doing is putting back all the natural autonomic functions that stressful culture took away from you. Once you have correctly trained steps 1 – 7 above, one deep breathe is all it should take activate all of the above relaxation responses, so “all of the pieces fall into place” immediately.
I imagine that you may have already mastered all of your relaxation responses. Since you were born with them, all you’re doing is “remastering” them. Now, you know how to take the benefits of meditation with you to any situation to meet the challenge of a chaotic world with no trouble…

If it were easy, everyone would do IT; everyone would have IT.
That “IT” is prosperity and we’re all trying to achieve that stage in our lives where wealth, health, success are a daily part of our lives.
So what’s the problem?
Why aren’t some of us living a prosperous life?
Read on, my friends…
1) CLARITY
Many people don’t know what they truly want in life. They have not clarified exactly what they desire and where they want to be within a year, 5 years even 3 months. Because they don’t know where they are going they drift along with the daily grind, totally forgetting that they want to attain true prosperity.
2) PATH
They are some that have a goal for their life, yet they do not know how to attain it. They go through the motions daily and never actually make a conscious decision to attain their goal.
3) STRUGGLE
Many are desperately trying to live a life of happiness, wealth and success. They are focused on achieving true prosperity but yet constantly find themselves struggling to attain it. It is this struggle that actually prevent them from being truly prosperous.
4) FEAR
False Evidence Appearing Real. This one 4-letter word prevents us from going forward to achieve all that we desire. What will our family think? Will our friends still like us? A very high percentage of persons fear success because of how it will affect us and our relationship with others.
5) CONDITIONING
As children and young adults our environment affects a great deal of our ‘conditioning’ and has a profound effect on the way we think, act and live. Our environment here could include our parents, our friends, television, politics, religion, school courses and our job. For example, the TV may constantly bombard us with images of prosperous persons as unhappy, as crooks or gangsters or as lonely or selfish. If we really believe this, who would want a lead a prosperous, successful life?
6) THE NORM
“I can’t be bothered. This is too much work. It’s too hard”. Some persons simply cannot be bothered to achieve prosperity. They live each day in a trance, in a numb existence, going along with the status-quo and have no desire to change their lives for the better.
7) OUT-GROW YOUR PEERS
Some people don’t want change. You may be hesitant to achieve your dreams, goals, you vision because once you do achieve true prosperity it may reduce your inventory of what is actually possible for you. It may mean that you grow beyond your partner, your friends and your family. What will that mean for you?
NEGATIVITY
Our lives are stuck by the negativity we are drawn to in our daily lives. A large percentage of persons want to out do their co-workers or friends with the amount and magnitude of problems that they have. Most of us live our lives in total lack and shortage and that prevents us from achieving true prosperity.
9) COURAGE
It takes courage to be prosperous. We need to focus our thoughts towards our vision of true prosperity and hold to that vision. Once we have the courage and the beliefs, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
10) BELIEFS
“It can’t happen to us. Prosperity is for other people. They were born with a silver spoon in their mouth”. We are programmed to think that being poor equals happiness. Our belief system totally affects how we live our lives. It is these beliefs that hold us back from our true potential and our true prosperity.
***********
Okay so now we’re aware of what are the top 10 roadblocks to attracting greater prosperity, let’s focus on what we can do about them…starting right now!
(a) The very 1st thing we have to do before we even start thinking about attracting more success, more prosperity and more of what we want is to figure out WHAT exactly do we want!
I know we all Think we know what we want, but if this is true why don’t we have it. We want a BMW Convertible, we want a 3000 sq ft house on 1 acre of land close to the golf course, we want money….
Okay so what do we need to change to get them?
Two things.
We need to get focused, and we need to have the belief that we will get them. We need to get really, really clear on what we want; we need to clarify what we desire then set the intention of how we would feel and what we would experience when we’ve achieved what we want.
It is wise to remember that anything we want should resonate with our true values of who we are. This makes it so much easier to attract.
Why do we need to struggle if we can make it effortless?
How can we figure out what we want?
There are a few ways that we can use that will allow us to get clear on what we DON’T want and therefore by contrast, by turning this around we can clearly see what we DO want!
(b) The prosperity mindset is what we desire to overcome the fear and the conditioning that are deeply embedded into our subconscious.
There are many programs and processes out there that can make us shift from that state of scarcity to a prosperity consciousness. We are in scarcity when we know how much we DON’T have; we’re in scarcity when we know what we DIDN’T do today…we’re in scarcity and lack when we think “not enough”
To get started now, there is a very powerful tool that you can use to increase the prosperity awareness in your life. It’s called the “Prosperity Journal” or a Grateful journal. Being grateful is a very dominant emotion that allows us to feel at one with the Universe and enables our desires to flow to us effortlessly.
If you don’t have or use a Prosperity Journal, start one today!
(c) We all need a Clear Plan of action; we need to set our rudder on course and focus on our destination ~ our vision.
Many of us in attempting to achieve our goals tend to get side-tracked. (I know I have!)
Not that we’re not serious or focused on what we want…but, you know how life is, don’t you?
Creating a powerful living vision as well as SMART goals to support this vision will propel you forward towards your desire for prosperity faster than anything I know.
(d) Use the Laws of the Universe to make it easier! If you’re tired of the struggle and want to make your prosperity come to you effortlessly, here’s a secret that few people know about. It like a short cut! It’s like a school crossing guard that helps children across the street!
The Law of Attraction can orchestrate everything you need to be, do and have in order for You to attract your desires….easily!
Think of it. When the children see the crossing-guard they feel safe and happy and know that all is well. When we use the Laws of the Universe to our benefit, all is taken care of. Our desires come to us exactly as we want, sometimes even better!
(e) Support and Accountability- of course YOU can do it on your own- you can attract greater prosperity, wealth, success, money, happiness…but how long will it take you? How difficult will it be for you to obtain all you’ve ever desired?
In many situations in order for us to achieve what we truly wish for, there is often some confusion and conflict. Why does this happen to us? It’s called Internal Resistance.
When that point of Internal Resistance is reached, we unconsciously tend to sabotage our early success and stop ourselves in our tracks from achieving more of what we desire. In short you are stuck!
“I can’t do this”.
“I’m not going to earn any more than this no matter how hard I work”.
“This will never happen”.
“I’m not yet ready for this”.
It is these Resistance thoughts that stop us from doing what we want and can often show up as procrastination or fear.
With a support partner or a life coach, you can overcome this fear, end procrastination and get moving towards the life of your dreams.
Wouldn’t you like to “walk your talk and live your dreams”? Finally?
The reason many of us don’t attract the prosperity we all desire is because we’re stuck. The reason we’re stuck is because we’re afraid to hire a coach.
Hiring a coach is simple. The 1st step to hiring a coach is finding one that resonates with you…one that you have heard on a teleclass, a CD, a radio interview. One whose articles you’ve read and in short, one who you like.
That coach needs to offer conditional consultations instead of free consultations otherwise that coach is going to want to sell you coaching rather than YOU deciding for yourself if you want to pursue coaching.
Hopefully you’ve gotten some ideas on how to get started on attracting greater prosperity into your life.
Now go be prosperous!

Feng shui (say “fung shway”) is the art of creating a home environment that supports the life you wish to live. A key element of feng shui is creating a smooth flow of chi (positive energy) through your space. Chi likes to move through your home as though it were a gentle breeze or a meandering stream. Where it is blocked, the energy becomes stagnant–like a pond choked with algae and fallen leaves. You are likely to feel blocked in life, and your energy and enthusiasm for matters of the heart will be low. Balancing and correcting the chi of your bedroom helps encourage and invigorate romance. Here are some quick and easy ways to improve your love life by improving the energy of your home:
1. Clean up your bedroom
When your bedroom is cluttered and untidy, the energy in there will be low and slow. Clutter is a sure sign that chi is stuck, so roll up your sleeves and clean the place up if you want to jump-start your love life. Ring a bell, shake a rattle, or clap your hands loudly around the room to clear out old, stale energy.
2. Make room for love
If you want to attract a new romantic partner–or move a casual relationship closer to commitment–make sure there is space for that person in your home. Look at your closets, shelves, and dressers, especially in the bedroom; if they are all filled to capacity with your own stuff, make clearing some room for your current or future partner a priority. Aim to free up 25% of the space in your bedroom for someone else’s things. When you are done, take a moment to visualize your loved one’s belongings finding a home there.
3. Don’t work out in the bedroom
When you exercise in the bedroom, or store your sports equipment there, you bring the energy of hard work and exertion into your romance space. Do you want your relationship to feel like a tough workout? If not, move your workout stuff somewhere else; your relationship is likely to move along more smoothly.
4. Remove old relationship energy
Go through your home–especially your bedroom–and remove anything that reminds you of past failed relationships; this could be an ex-boyfriend’s old sweater you find in the closet, photographs of you with a previous partner, a gift that reminds you (unfavorably) of a giver with whom you are no longer in love–anything that reminds you of a love that went bad. No matter how incurable a romantic you may be, do NOT keep old love letters anywhere in your bedroom unless they are from someone with whom you are still blissfully paired up.
5. Remove inappropriate imagery
The images with which you surround yourself can have a powerful effect on your love life. Feng shui clients who complain of difficulty finding romance often have surrounded themselves with images of a person alone. Inappropriate imagery includes anything that represents solitude, loneliness, aggression, hard work, conflict, or disagreement in any way. That old photo of your Dad when he was in the army may be a treasure, but the wartime energy it carries doesn’t have any place in the bedroom; find another place to keep it.
6. Open the door to love
Make sure both the front door of your home and the door to your bedroom open easily and completely. Doors that stick, squeak, or that only open partway because of all the stuff stored behind them are blocking the flow of romantic energy and opportunity into your home. A loose doorknob on your bedroom door could mean you’re having a hard time “getting a handle on” romance; get out your screwdriver and tighten it up.
7. Create a path for chi
Walk slowly from your front door to your bedroom, pretending that you are a gentle river of chi. Look for any areas where furniture or other belongings are stopping or slowing the flow of chi, or where chi is diverted away from the bedroom to other areas of the house. Clear a path so fresh chi can find its way to your bedroom and nourish your love life. Make sure all the lights along this route are working, replace any burned-out bulbs, and be alert for dark or dingy corners where you can increase the energy by adding more light.
8. Move your bed
If one side of your bed is against the wall, the person who sleeps on that side may feel confined or disempowered in the relationship. If possible, place the bed so there is equal space on either side, so you and your partner can find equal enjoyment in the relationship. The ideal position of the bed will be on the opposite side of the room from the door, but not directly in line with it. If you can’t see the bedroom door from the bed, hang a mirror where it will provide a reflected view of the entry.
9. Bring romance chi into the bedroom
Be sure to place romantic imagery in these two key places in the bedroom: the wall opposite the foot of the bed (where you naturally look when lying in bed), and whatever area of the room you first see when you enter. Beautiful, romantic artwork is always good, as are fresh or silk flowers and anything in pairs (such as birds, cherubs, candles, or decorative pillows). A round mirror is also good for the bedroom, as the shape signifies completion and unity. Look around your home for whatever says “romance” to you, and find a good spot for it in your bedroom.
10. Clarify your intention
Make a collage of images that symbolize your perfect relationship, and place it where you will see it every day. If you are already in a relationship, invite your partner to make a collage with you, to represent your intention to build a joyful and loving future together.

Your spiritual growth requires you to continually ask the question, “Who am I?” The spirituality information you obtain from this question will guide you to abundance, health and harmony.
This article deals with many esoteric aspects of the origin of the universe, so it is important that you are open and receptive to the information you are about to receive. I would like you to open your mind and open your heart before we explore these ideas and concepts.
I am going to ask you to suspend any judgments or preconceived notions you may have about the origins of the universe and just listen to the words and the ideas. Please don’t put any labels on these concepts or classify the ideas into categories. When you label or classify an idea you are limiting your perspective, and with a limited perspective you can’t see the whole picture.
We are looking for a broad picture here. We want to develop a picture that can be seen from all perspectives. This is the only way to see the truth of an idea. If you can view an idea from an unlimited number of perspectives and they all tell you the same story, then you are surrounding the idea with truth.
That is our intention. We, you and I, are going to co-create this experience of really seeing ourselves, perhaps for the first time, from a much larger perspective than we ever have before. This larger, all-encompassing perspective is going to open ourselves to the symmetry of this huge creation of the universe in a way that allows us to see our own lives with more clarity and understanding of our larger purpose.
Albert Einstein understood this concept of nonjudgmental thinking. He said “You can’t get any revolutionary ideas from using the same thoughts you have been thinking. You must change the way you are thinking and think different thoughts.”
Sometimes you have to be “out of your mind” or, at the very least, “out of your comfort zone” to truly evolve and change the way you expect your future to be.
So as we explore these ideas and concepts concerning why the universe was created in the first place and then, what our purpose is in that creation, it will be necessary to use all of our senses. Not just our physical senses but also our nonphysical senses. Please allow your nonphysical senses of intuition, altruism and feelings guide you as we begin our journey.
Even though I have asked you not to use labels as you interpret this material I am going to say that this information is “supremely important” in the ultimate understanding of who you really are.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you will be able to liberate yourself from your own fears.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you can throw off any limitations that you have placed on yourself and begin to live a life without limits.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you can bring yourself into balance in the mind, body and spirit.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you will actually incorporate the concept of unconditional love into your life.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you will begin to create your life as you intend it to be.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you will experience the utter magnificence of yourself.
It is in the knowing of who you really are that you can begin to understand what true freedom really is.
If this sounds (physical sense) or better yet feels (nonphysical sense) like the truth to you, then you have opened your mind and your heart as I requested at the beginning of this article. This frees you to receive information without judgment. This is critical because there is information out there that is going to make all the rest of your life make sense.

Imagine two big spotlights. One is pointed upward, casting light far into the air. The other is pointed downward and buried into the earth - no light is cast at all.
This is like intent.
There are only two possible intentions in any given moment: the intent to learn about loving yourself and others, and the intent to protect against pain with some form of controlling behavior.
When you consciously choose the intent to learn, your light points upward, shining upon the truth that will guide you in your highest good. Your mind opens and becomes a receiver of the information you need to support yourself in manifesting your dreams. Consciously choosing the intent to learn is the most powerful thing we can do. When we consciously choose the intent to learn, we open ourselves to our Higher Self - the part of us that connects us with the information and creativity in the universe.
When we unconsciously choose the intent to control, we shut off access to truth. Our mind closes and becomes like a closed circuit TV - recycling the old information that has been programmed into our mind. We become stuck in our limited mind, operating from the false beliefs that we learned as we were growing up. We become stuck in the past, recreating old hurts.
The challenge here is that our unconscious automatic choice is to control. When we were growing up, we all had to learn many ways to control to survive the challenges of childhood. We learned ways of trying to have control over how people feel about us and treat us, such as anger, blame, judgment, righteousness, or compliance. We learned ways to protect against losing ourselves to another’s control, such as resisting or withdrawing. We learned many addictive ways of avoiding feeling our pain, such using food, drugs, alcohol, TV, Internet, sex, work, sports, gambling, shopping, self-judgment, and so on - all to have control over not feeling our painful feelings.
Most people immediately, and unconsciously, choose the intent to control the moment they feel any anxiety. The problem is that the intent to control is self-abandonment, always causing even more fear, anxiety or depression. Instead of shining the light of love upon your distress in order to learn and heal, you shove the light into the ground, causing more darkness.
Choosing your intent is the essence of free will, and it determines what you feel and what you manifest. While you might have momentary pleasure when something good happens, the deep joy and wellbeing that we all seek, and the ability to manifest your dreams, is the result of your intent to learn about loving yourself and others.
The challenge in our lives is to REMEMBER that we are at choice - to remember to choose the intent to learn.
How can you remember to consciously choose the intent to learn? How can you remember, the moment you feel any fear, anxiety, or any stress, to open to learning about what you are thinking or doing that is creating this stress? What can you do to stop your automatic reactive controlling behavior?
First of all, you need to accept that this is a lifetime practice - not something that will occur quickly. We have all been practicing the intent to control for most of our lives, so it will take much practice to even remember that there is another choice.
The place to start is to practice noticing your feelings throughout a day. Perhaps wearing a rubber band that you can snap on your wrist will remind you to check inside to see how you are feeling. You cannot begin to learn about your thoughts and actions that are causing your feelings until you are aware of your painful feelings. You cannot stop your addictive anesthetics until you are WILLING to feel your feelings and take responsibility for them.
If you decide that you are willing to feel your feelings, that willingness will lead you to becoming more and more conscious of your feelings. This is the beginning of being able to consciously choose your intent to learn.

Abraham Maslow was a man before his time. He was intelligent enough to study healthy and productive people, while the trend in psychology is to study people of the mentally unstable variety. His approach was more scientific than philosophical, and so his work is studied extensively in Psychology classes around the world - and for good reason. Maslow helped bridge the gap between science and spirituality. In other words, he added respect to the study of the spirit, and added humanity to science.
In culmination of his 20 years of research, Maslow came to believe that in order for one to become self-actualized a person had to think of themselves as an open vessel-like the elements of nature. To be like nature, that person should have the capacity for two things: self-exploration and taking action.
The following nine steps may help get you there:
1. Allow yourself to be fully in the moment. When you participate in an activity so that your whole focus is on the task at hand you are in the flow. When you become one with source energy you will have this divine energy at your disposal. For this reason, your activity will be a zen gift from the universe.
2. Begin to be aware of what life is bringing to the table, and make choices that serve your best interests. The choices you make will be easy because your intuition (our inner source) is so highly tuned that it never fails to steer you wrong. A trust will be developed so that you realize even though your choice will be more challenging (with a risk attached) the outcome will leave you in a better place.
3. Become adept at keeping your ego at bay. Do not allow yourself to become a slave to other people’s wishes, and be at ease bringing your true self out in the physical world.
4. Live in humility and integrity. Forgive yourself and forgive others. When you make a choice that did not serve you or others as you thought it would, own it. Take responsibility for where you are and what shows up for you.
5. Be prepared to live on an island. Know some of your decisions will be unpopular, but proceed with them anyway. Approval seeking is not the way for you. Take actions that are creative and brave.
6. Trust your instincts while listening to your intelligence. Study in your field of choice. Your ability to deduce will work with your gut to give you a well-balanced appraisal of any particular situation.
7. Be specific in your desires and know that you are able to attract them. Do not bother with trying to attain things that fall in the category of illusion. Use the universal law of attraction with ease, yet keep your feet are firmly planted on the ground.
8. Know who you are and what you are capable of doing. Your strength is in being, and from there you are unstoppable. Allow your actions to be inspired. Be like the zen fireflies and express your freedom with your internal dance. Follow that inner guidance. Understand and respect the power that you have, and be equally respectful of the fact that others have this power at their disposal.
9. Live with compassion, knowing that others may experience difficulty in accessing this source. Have a strong moral compass. Live your life with the purest of intention, and realize this is the best way to serve others.
If you can practice these steps with consistency, Abraham Maslow would picture you as self-actualized. He was a wise man. Maslow passed in 1970, but his work lives on. In this quote from Abraham Maslow he shows his respect for both the spiritual and the scientific nature of the human being:
“Self Actualization is the intrinsic growth of what is already in the organism, or more accurately, of what the organism is.”
Be one with nature and with the magical fireflies that move the night air. From here you will be in a position to move others.

Ancient wisdom from many cultures, and cutting-edge scientific experiments performed in modern labs both point to the incredible power of observing the present moment. Tapping into this simple practice can set you free from all obstacles and empower you to manifest everything you desire.
Most people spend their time living in a past that is forever gone and a future that hasn’t even been realized yet. For some reason we seem intent on avoiding the present moment with all manner of daydreams and self-distractions.
However, when we allow our minds to be free from regret and anxiety, and focus clearly on the present moment, we have access to the virtually limitless power of mindfulness. By simply deciding to be aware of our bodies, thought processes, and surroundings without getting lost in our internal chatter, we open the door to an abundance of new possibilities.
Enhanced physical energy, the ability to focus our attention more sharply and think more clearly, and a heightened sense of intuition are only a few of the benefits we gain as we practice daily mindfulness. By mindfulness, I simply mean the activity of paying attention to what we are doing in the present and letting our minds flow freely without participating in the “mental movies” that make up much of our day.
You can begin this sacred yet simple exercise immediately just by taking account of what you are doing right now.
Feel the physical sensation of your body in the chair.
Allow yourself to hear the sounds around you without becoming distracted.
Read the words on this screen and watch your mind flow without interruption.
Give it a try. You’ll find yourself slipping back into a state of distraction after only a few seconds.
It’s amazing how difficult it can be for our minds to simply stop chattering away at us and pay attention for as little as five minutes! But with practice it becomes easier, and your whole life begins to open up in a way you never imagined possible.
Key to this entire process is the ability to observe your thoughts as they occur and not become attached to them. Your conscious mind flows like a never-ending stream, and a big part of its job is to identify and analyze everything in your world; but you don’t have to identify with or be influenced by every thought you have.
In fact you can choose to entertain only those thoughts that empower your purpose! But that will be the topic of another article.
For now I want to emphasize the practice of stepping back from your thoughts and becoming immersed in your present reality as it unfolds. In addition to wonderful improvements such as greater energy, focus, and love of life, I believe this practice further empowers you to define your personal destiny.
Through Quantum mechanics, researchers have found that a human being can affect the behavior of electrons and atoms by the mere act of observing them! Consider the astonishing ramifications of this statement.
Science has proven that we can directly influence physical reality with thought alone. And the daily practice of being mindful and aware of the moment makes it far easier for us to focus our intentions as we observe the natural flow of life.
