Positive Affirmations for the Week of May 1-7, Trust

May 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Trust, Week 1, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the 1st week of May with the theme of Trust at DailyAffirm, which you may want to immediately re-designate "Self-trust." In this message, I will give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day, or simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily reminders by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (check the options on the navigation bar).

About Your Over-arching Intention
If you have not already done so, please identify your over-arching intention for Trust. That is, develop a statement that guides you in the exploration and embodiment of trust. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions emerge. If you are uncertain how to write this intention, just make an attempt. Keep it simple. You have 31 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your statement change and deepen. Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of Trust: *To experience the world as a trusting place. *To resonate with the consciousness of trust. *I am trust, trusting, and trustworthy. *To trust myself. *To be a place for trust to thrive.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Trust
It is possible (although by no means certain) that as you are releasing and cleansing this week, energies / emotions / thoughts of the opposite of trust might appear: for example, distrust, mistrust, broken trust. To this dynamic I say: trust the process! The process is working. To live in a state of trust you must also know how to recognize distrust, mistrust, broken trust, or other resistance.

Consider this. You meet someone for the first time. You immediately feel distrusting. Where does this distrust come from? The several possibilities are: from you, from that person, from the environment / situation / others, from all or any combination of these. You are not responsible for the trust / distrust / mistrust that someone else carries in his or her energy field, nor do you need to fully understand it in the specific situation. You are, however, responsible for your own trust / distrust / mistrust because you will connect with others who are similar in their relationship to trust. Put your attention on self-trust and everything else will find its rightful place.

About Your Process in the First Week
As you proceed through these first seven days of May, I suggest that you pay particular attention to how you and others use the word "trust." Just notice and learn about the consciousness of trust by the way the word is used to represent this consciousness. It is the consciousness that is more meaningful than the word chosen to represent the consciousness.

I recommend that you write one or more of this week’s affirmations. I have developed a process which is described in the book, "Affirmations: A Pathway to
Transformation" and in an article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment."

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for Trust it would be the affirmation for May 1: I give myself permission to release fear and anger from every level of the energy field, with effortless grace. You may prefer to use words other than "fear" and "anger." Choose words that are most relevant to your own needs.

Make this a wondrous week!

April 7, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 7th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity No Comments »

I let Spirit
(My Higher Self, God, My Spirit Guides,
The One, The Force, Infinite Source)
clear any remaining thoughts and feelings of disorder and impurity.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
On this last day of this first week of April, trust Spirit to clear away thoughts and feelings that may interfere with your experience of clarity. Choose one or any combination of names for Spirit. Disorder and impurity are suggested ideas that reflect "non-clarity." Other possibilities are confusion, distortions, toxicity, fog, dizziness, contamination, disorder, indecision. While you may sometimes get distracted by words, know that Spirit needs no words. Trust. Surrender to Spirit for the Light.

About Your Process
This is the last of the official "clearing" days this month for the theme of clarity. However, you are likely to continue to experience clearing for clarity because this is a process, not a singular event. You collected non-clarity in cycles; now you release in cycles. So, take a moment to allow anything that may remain within your consciousness that needs to be cleared or cleaned. You may be able to name it specifically or not. Simply trust that when using today’s affirmation all that is unclear becomes clear in the right and perfect time. Trust the process.

About the Next Type of Affirmations
Tomorrow DailyAffirm re-focuses the theme of clarity with affirmations that reflect the ideas of Receiving/Accepting. To open up to clarity in your life can be the first step in receiving all the blessings you desire. You may also want to re-visit your over-arching intention for clarity as you shift from this week’s type of affirmation to tomorrow’s.

Make this a pure day!

April 6, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 6th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity No Comments »

I dissolve thoughts that suggest there is no clarity.
I say goodbye to confusion.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
This affirmation continues the ideas expressed in the last few days. Say goodbye to confusion, goodbye to anything that is unclear. The next time you meet non-clarity, you can recognize it more easily and say goodbye again. Put your attention on what you desire to manifest: clear vision, true mission, calming peace, unconditional love, rewarding relationships. When you give your attention to such desires, confusion disappears.

About Your Process
As you continue to neutralize those things that have been or have appeared to be distorted, you can use many different techniques and strategies. One technique is always with you and costs nothing: your breath, and more specifically, intentional breathing. You can use your breath to breathe in clarity and peace; then breathe out confusion and disharmony. Breathe in spirit; breathe out illusions. Breathe in light; breathe out anything unlike the light. Create your own breathing mantra and let your breath work for you on multiple levels. When you are ready, you can breathe in clarity and breathe out clarity.

As you become aware of specific beliefs that are limiting thoughts, you may wish to return to working with the affirmations of April 1 and April 2. You can adjust either or both affirmations to incorporate the limiting beliefs that you discover, if you choose.

April 5, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 5th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity No Comments »

I cut negative bonds of attachment to
disorder, bewilderment, and contamination.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Disorder, bewilderment, and contamination are not usually much fun. Experiences such as these were/are usually created from ignorance. You can cut the bonds that are attached to the people, places, things, and ideas that are or represent disorder, bewilderment, and contamination. You can use a knife, a sledge hammer, a fire torch, a pair of manicure scissors — whatever tools are required for the job. Ask angels and beings of light to carry off the bonds so that they do not create any further negativity. Spend only a brief time looking at that which you are releasing and turn your attention to that which you desire.

About Your Process
As you ponder your own clearing and healing on this day, consider also that many on the planet are still in deep ignorance about love and abundance and peace. You live in the human flesh to experience joy as you manifest and create. Your manifestations and creations take place wherever you are planted — like a flower seed sprouts and grows where it is planted — not complaining, not requesting to be somewhere or something else. All the flower knows how to do is bloom. So as you cut negative bonds of attachment today, bloom!

April 4, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 4th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity No Comments »

I release memories that appear as confusion and separation.
I release the dark window through which I have seen the world.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Any memory (ie., past experience) that leads you to believe that this is an unfriendly world needs to be diminished. Certainly, you have memories or past experiences of confusion or separation or injustice or unfriendliness. If these experiences are hanging around you unresolved, you can release them from your attention simply by focusing elsewhere. If you hold onto negative ideas as facts, and generalize the facts into truths, you allow them to color your present and future experiences. Such memories can teach you about confusion and separation if you choose to focus in that direction, but they can also teach you about clarity. It is your choice.

About Your Process
The image of a dark window releasing is powerful. You may perceive that the dark window is in front of your eyes distorting your vision, or in front of your heart polluting your relationships, or between your life mission and your life experiences blocking your satisfaction. As you look at the world today, consider what parts you may be perceiving through a dark glass. Then clean the dark glass — Windex or other commercial glass cleaner works well. Or if you do not want to use a chemical, use intention.

April 3, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 3rd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity No Comments »

I let go of everything that gets in the way of clarity and purity.
By letting go,
I find that my vision clears so that I can see what I want.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
You may have been holding onto to some unclear stuff for a looonnnggg time. Some of it may be rather yucky and dung-like. If so, release it with the intention that it does not pollute — not yourself, not anyone else, and not the environment. Just as excrement can become fertilizer, allow the stuff of the past to nourish your own beauty to blossom. You can keep your attention on the fertilizer or on the blooms. It is a personal choice.

About Your Process
Keep remembering that you want to release resistance, not figure out how it got there. Trying to figure everything out keeps you holding onto it. Please also remember to be very gentle with yourself. This is not a contest, but a process of personal development. Reward yourself with hugs and loving kindness. Let yourself see clearly your heart’s desires and mind’s visions.

April 2, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 2nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity No Comments »

I rescind obsolete vows of
struggle, unworthiness, silence, and limitation.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Vows and other limiting beliefs from past generations permeate your current experiences. Vows, especially religious and marital, are often made with worthy intention, when belief in them is strong. However, they continue to have impact even when they are no longer relevant. Right now (this instant!) your consciousness is great enough to rescind outdated vows simply with your intention to do so. Vows made at any time can limit you — indeed, that is the purpose of a vow: to limit. For example, "I’ll never speak to you again!" is a vow to limit speech, even though the focus may have been to stop communication with a single person. As "forever," "never" is a very long time.

About Your Process
As recommended yesterday, here is a reminder to write this affirmation according to the approach described in "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment," if that appeals to you. In addition, you may want to reflect on the personal relevance of the vows named in today’s statement or you may choose to add others. Do you experience struggle in any part of your life? Do you feel unworthy — either generally or situationally? Are you afraid to speak up or to speak your truth? Do you feel you are not expressing your full potential? If you said yes to any of these questions, this affirmation may be particularly potent for you, but do not belabor this exploration. I encourage you to complete your work with outdated vows quickly so you can more easily step into thoughts and beliefs that are empowering.

April 1, Positive Affirmation for Clarity

April 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I give myself permission to release toxicity,
easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field.
The Angel of Clarity carries away heavy distortions.

Greetings! Our theme is Clarity. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-clarity. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Sometimes you need to give yourself permission to do something, even something that you really desire to do. You may hold a belief that change takes a long time or that change must be difficult or that change is not possible. If you believe these ideas, you make them true in your experience. And, if you believe that change is easy and fun and fast and deep, these thoughts become true in your experience. So, start with giving yourself permission to believe what you want to believe, regardless of past experiences. You will not instantly believe what you want to believe, but this is an important starting step. Give yourself permission to believe empowering thoughts.

About Your Process
As you work with today’s affirmation, remember to breathe deeply. You may find that you give yourself permission to release in a general way, or you may find that you prefer to be quite specific about what you are ready to release. The approach that works for you is the right approach, but do not get overly caught up in releasing the stuff — remember, the theme is "clarity." Take steps toward clearer thoughts, more empowering beliefs, and thinking about the things you appreciate.

About Related Articles and Book
I recommend that you write one or more of this week’s affirmation, if that idea appeals to you. I have developed a process which is described in the book, Affirmations: A Pathway to Transformation and in an article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment." Positive Affirmations for the Week of April 1-7, Clarity

April 1st, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Clarity, Week 1, Weekly Messages No Comments »

Greetings in the 1st week of April with the theme of Clarity, a very special theme. In this message, I will give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or, simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to one of our email alert lists (see the navigation bar).

About Your Over-arching Intention
If you have not already done so, please identify your over-arching intention for Clarity. That is, develop a statement that guides you in theexploration and embodiment of clarity. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions emerge. If you are uncertain how to write this intention, just make an attempt. Keep it simple. You have 30 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your statement change and deepen. Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of Clarity:

  • To realize clarity on all levels of my being.
  • To hold the consciousness of clarity.
  • I am clear.
  • To experience the clarity of a pure crystal.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Clarity
During this first week, let go of non-clarity, barriers to clarity, and resistance. So, empty out sludge, erase confusion, release toxicity, cleanse distortions, etc. You may know precisely what you are releasing (e.g., an old relationship, poverty consciousness, fear of the unknown) or you may just know in a general way what you are releasing (fears, doubts, unnecessary stuff). It does not benefit you to be overly preoccupied with releasing, just catch the concept of letting go of resistance and give your attention to clarity and other dynamics you wish to experience in your life.

About Your Process in the First Week
As you work with your chosen affirmation(s) this week, be aware of your own unique process of letting go. If you have any discomfort (some folks do, some do not), immediately re-frame it as a healing, clearing, or purification. If you stop to try to dissect what you are releasing, you slow down your process. It is helpful to release the need to understand everything! This is a very good week to empty out closets and desk drawers and files — anything that gets in the way of clear focus.

I recommend that you write this week’s affirmation(s). I have developed a process which is described in the book, Affirmations: A Pathway to Transformation and in an article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment."

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for clarity it would be the first sentence of the affirmation for April 1: "I give myself permission to release toxicity easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." I have given this affirmation to many, many clients in individual sessions and workshops for profound results.

Make this a meaningful week!

March 7, Positive Affirmation for Balance

March 7th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I let Spirit
(My Higher Self, God, My Spirit Guides, The One, The Force, Infinite Source)
purify any remaining thoughts and feelings of struggle and injustice.

Greetings! Our theme is Balance. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
This affirmation is the last of the releasing ones with this theme, so give the remains of non-balance to Spirit for purification. Select any (or all!) designations of higher power. You cannot have too much higher power. Give up (up, up, up) struggle and belief in struggle. Give up (up, up, up) injustice and belief in injustice. Give up (up, up, up) disharmony and belief in disharmony. Let Spirit purify you.

About Your Process
While you are reading or saying today’s affirmation, you may want to let your breathing follow the rhythm of the words: the in-breath brings in an awareness of Spirit and the out-breath releases those remaining thoughts and feelings of struggle and injustice, or anything else you associate with the opposite of balance as you have defined it. Let this affirmation empty you out so that you can fill yourself with those things that you desire. Of course, if you want to hang on to struggle and injustice…… Know that it is your choice.

March 6, Positive Affirmation for Balance

March 6th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I let go of thoughts that suggest there is no balance.
I stop creating images that life is unfair and
start creating images of joy.

Greetings! Our theme is Balance. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Today’s affirmation invites you to dissolve and erase ideas and beliefs that block your acceptance of balance. You may find yourself working successfully with this affirmation without even knowing precisely what those ideas and beliefs are OR you may find information jumps out at you everywhere you turn today. When your journey is the latter, it is time for you to turn your attention from these images that you do not want to images that you do want. Give this releasing process the proper attention — just enough to recognize what you do not want — so that you can give your attention intentionally to what you do want. As the thoughts of imbalance and unfairness and injustice and indecision come into your conscious awareness, let them flow from you, and give your focus to balance and fairness and justice and decision.

About Your Process
Are you noticing that you and others are releasing old stuff as you work with these Releasing/Cleansing affirmations? The power of this process (as well as other self-development processes) is more greatly enhanced when you sharpen your awareness of your own process and the processes of others. What do you notice today about balance or imbalance? about fairness or unfairness? about life in any aspect? To what do you most want to give your attention?

As you become aware of specific beliefs that are limiting thoughts, you may wish to return to working with the affirmations of March 1 and March 2. You can adjust either or both affirmations to incorporate the limiting beliefs that you discover, if you choose. You will find that writing these affirmations according to the writing process explained in “Writing Affirmations for Empowerment” will be particularly effective.

March 5, Positive Affirmation for Balance

March 5th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I cut negative bonds of attachment to imbalance and inequality.
I untie the duality of bondage and control.

Greetings! Our theme is Balance. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Cutting negative bonds of attachment is a powerful technique for releasing and detaching yourself from someone or something. You can perceive or imagine the quality or characteristics of the bonds between yourself and whatever keeps you from experiencing balance. My definition of a technique is a method to train you or focus your attention to do something so well that you do not need the technique — similar to training wheels on a child’s bicycle. As you experiment with powerful techniques (such as many that I mention, and those from other sources), you must remember that they are only tools — you are the power. You have incredible power. If some technique teaches you about your own power, it has done its job. If the author of a technique tells you that the technique is required in order for you to be powerful, it has not served you, but the author.

About Your Process
You can use your imagination to check the bonds that keep you attached to someone or something. The attachment may be a belief that someone or something has power over you. Without focusing on the person or thing to which you are negatively attached, examine the bonds. Are the bonds tight? What color are they? How thick are they? Of what substance are they? What instrument is required to cut the bonds? When you are ready, cut them. As you cut the bonds, also cut or untie the belief that the bondage of one + the control of another = balance. This equation is part of an old paradigm whose time is of the past. The releasing process of this week assists you in moving into a new paradigm and a new definition of balance.

March 4, Positive Affirmation for Balance

March 4th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I release memories that allowed belief in instability and revenge.
Impurities dissolve without pollution as I manifest new experiences
that become tomorrow’s pleasant memories.

Greetings! Our theme is Balance. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Memories of experiences can be recorded on any layer/level of the energy field. You may be conscious of the memories or not. They may sit there quietly for many years, either polluting or enhancing your relationships. As you release old resistance, you may feel the feelings or think the thoughts that relate to those memories. The thoughts and feelings may come as a flash or a thud or laughter or fear. Analyzing this stuff is like analyzing the trash in your trash masher — messy and not very productive. The shortened version of this affirmation is, “I release.”

About Your Process
Remember “to release” means “to let go.” As you let go of what you do not need, you become happier and clearer and friendlier. In this way, you benefit first and others around you benefit also. While you are not responsible for anyone else’s personal development, you are connected (”we is all one”) and can not separate yourself from the whole. The stuff that is releasing from you and others during this purification process has the potential of being toxic waste or rich fertilizer. Intention can dissolve the impurities in an instant. If you prefer that the release takes a long time, that choice is also available to you.

March 3, Positive Affirmation for Balance

March 3rd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I let go of everything that gets in the way of equanimity.
I give up the belief that retaliation creates balance so that I can create
a more empowering belief about balance.

Greetings! Our theme is Balance. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
While intellectually you are likely able to accept that retaliation does not create balance, you may experience that some of your actions indicate that you believe this is so. The popular belief in karma, for example, includes the concept of retaliation. Revenge, “what goes around, comes around”, “I’ll get you for that,” and “Gotcha!” are common examples of retaliation — a distortion of true balance. Equanimity elicits feelings of calmness and evenness. Deeper than these feelings is the knowingness that you are connected with all others. Or as a friend of mine likes to say, “we is all one.”

About Your Process
As you work with today’s affirmation, you might choose to consider all the ideas and beliefs you have held about balance and imbalance. Perhaps you feel your own life needs to be put in proper balance. Consider just exactly what that means. Many people who work for a living often complain that their lives are “out of balance,” which usually means they believe they work too much without an appropriate amount of leisure or personal or family time. But others might experience being “out of balance” as meaning that they spend too much time or are obsessed with or addicted to such things as alcohol, Internet social networks, television, drugs, food, money, overspending, or the like. Balance is an intensely personal choice. What creates balance in your life?

March 2, Positive Affirmation for Balance

March 2nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Balance No Comments »

I rescind obsolete vows of struggle and limitation.
Angels are with me as half-truths, lies, and distortions drop from my attention.

Greetings! Our theme is Balance. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Vows of all sorts have been made (and, uh, broken) generation after generation. Religious vows, vows of revenge, marriage vows, vows of silence, vows of poverty, vows in anger, vows of forever, vows of never all have their unique dynamics. When vows are made forever, it is helpful to remember that forever is a long time. Broken vows tend to generate guilt or retaliation or fear. Today you can give a gift to your ancestors, your children, and yourself by consciously rescinding outdated vows, without even knowing precisely what they are.

About Your Process
If you found that writing yesterday’s affirmation in the manner suggested was a valuable process for you, you will probably also benefit from writing today’s affirmation. Instead of that or in addition to that, you might identify examples of outdated vows that keep you and/or others struggling or believing strongly in limitation. With this suggestion, I caution that you not become overly involved in analyzing the specific vows that have created any struggle or limitation. A little awakening on this subject goes a long way. Notice, and rescind the vows of limitation and struggle. Then move your attention to what you want to experience.
