June 7, Positive Affirmation for Joy

"I let Spirit (My Higher Self, God, My Spirit Guides,
The One, The Force, Infinite Source)
purify any remaining thoughts and feelings of struggle."

… Greetings! Our theme is Joy. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-joy at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Today, trust Spirit to handle what you may have missed. Let hidden beliefs and memories of struggle or victim consciousness effortlessly come to the surface to be released. When you work with Spirit in this deep and powerful way, you are blessed with joy in your manifestations. All that you manifest on the physical plane is temporary, ever-changing. Spirit is eternal, everlasting, joyous, beyond human understanding, ever-expanding. A joy of being human is to anchor joy on the planet.

About Your Process
I want to express my deep appreciation to those of you who read DailyAffirm regularly — you show up to be present, to "do the work." You have chosen the Light. This choice requires moving through darkness with your Light. Discomforts and inconveniences are not the Truth of who you are, but old patterns that can change naturally by choosing to live in the Light. Keep finding ways to deepen your consciousness about joy.

  • "Resonating with the Light with Jeanie Marshall" is an interview conducted by Susan Barber from Spirit of Ma’at focusing on Jeanie’s energy work.

About the Next Type of Affirmations
As you come to the end of this first week, you may want to re-visit your over-arching intention about joy to ready yourself for the Receiving/Accepting Affirmations that begin tomorrow. If you still have more non-joy to release, you can continue to release it, even as you accept and receive joy. Today is a wonderful opportunity to cleanse your home or office, to empty physical trash as well as emotional or mental trash.

Make this a pure day!

June 6, Positive Affirmation for Joy

"I dissolve thoughts that suggest there is no joy."

… Greetings! Our theme is Joy. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-joy at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Many different thoughts suggest there is no joy. Such suggestions are broadcast on television with graphic representations of hardship, displayed on the silver screen with glorification of explosive destruction, written in newspapers with reports of crime, spoken in households and neighborhoods in miscommunications. You can replace the distortions in an instant with enlightened thoughts. Joy replaces non-joy. Love replaces non-love. Peace replaces non-peace. This is a simple formula. The more you focus on the consciousness of love and joy and peace, the less you can focus on despair and other forms of non-joy. It is important to be able to recognize what you do not want so that you do not sabotage yourself by dwelling on unwanted stuff, and more easily learn to quickly shift your attention elsewhere.

About Your Process
Take a brief look at the non-joy thoughts or suggestions in your own life. Perhaps you have even expressed some already today. What suggests to you there is no joy? Perhaps an old habit? a friend? your job? a billboard? your car? a casual conversation? a television commercial? How many non-joy thought forms are you willing to commit yourself to replace with joyful thoughts today? Now, spend more time looking at the joy suggestions in your life.

As you become aware of specific beliefs that are limiting thoughts, you may wish to return to working with the affirmations of June 1 and June 2. You can adjust either or both affirmations to incorporate the limiting beliefs that you discover, if you choose. You will find that writing these affirmations according to the process we have developed will be particularly effective.

June 5, Positive Affirmation for Joy

June 5th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy No Comments »

"I cut negative bonds of attachment to despair, depression, and desperation.
I untie the knots and the nots.
"

… Greetings! Our theme is Joy. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-joy at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Attachments come in all shapes and sizes. Some talk to you; others are silent. Some are joyful (like happy marriages); some are painful (like unhappy divorces). "Cannots" and restraints and doubts often look like knots in the energy field. These knots can be untied. Negative bonds can be cut. Working with imagery in the energy field is powerful, and usually more effective than pondering the thing to which you are attached and the circumstances of the attachments. You can also untie the bonds to depressing history or disempowering current events.

About Your Process
This affirmation is particularly appropriate for using the power of imagery or visualization. Ask yourself, "What attachment limits my experience of joy?" Close your eyes (to minimize distraction of physical input) and ask for an image from your inner guidance. This image can come to you in any number of ways: through your vision or hearing or sensations in your physical body or intuition. If you receive information about knots and ties, work with them — untie the knots, cut the ties. This will be much more empowering than trying to tackle the thing to which you have appeared to be negatively attached (you probably already know this is true, because you have been working on this for years!) Finish it! It is time to step into joy.

June 4, Positive Affirmation for Joy

June 4th, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy No Comments »

"I release memories that allowed belief in pain and struggle.
The energy of these memories is now used in more empowering ways."

… Greetings! Our theme is Joy. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-joy at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
"Memories" can be the obvious memories you remember in your conscious awareness. In addition, you hold "memories" at other levels of consciousness. Every experience leaves a mark in the energy field. Your parents and lovers and friends and associates also hold memories that you sometimes step into — sometimes as easily as you might step into cow flop on a stroll in a pasture. It is as easy to slip out of a belief in pain and struggle as to slip into a belief in pain and struggle. The way in is the way out. If you find it easy to believe in pain and struggle, guess what? It is just as easy (and a lot more fun) to believe in non-pain and non-struggle: joy and trust and peace and harmony.

About Your Process
It is not necessary to sift through and recall all the memories of pain and struggle that you are releasing this week. Figuring out "why" and "who did what" can be quite debilitating and can slow your process at the very time that you want to accelerate it. Let it go. Take it to the trash. Or drop it in the pasture. As that stuff in the pasture turns from foul excrement to nurturing fertilizer, so, too, the sticky stuff of pain is transformed into an energy that is revitalizing. Let it go from your energy field. Take one step at a time. One thought at a time. One day at a time.

June 3, Positive Affirmation for Joy

"I let go of everything that appears to prevent or block joy.
I cancel the picture created by the expression, ‘no pain, no gain.’"

… Greetings! Our theme is Joy. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-joy at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
In 1991 I wrote an article that was published in the Los Angeles Whole Life Times called, "Let’s Wipe out this Expression, ‘No Pain, No Gain.’" A variation of this article appeared in the July 1991 Issue of the Marshall House Journal. My intention was to stir up some interest in eradicating this debilitating expression. My thinking of today is that replacement is a much more effective approach than eradication, which is not really possible anyway. Working together, we can find one or more replacements.

About Your Process
I encourage you to search your own repertoire of expressions that may keep you stuck in pain or struggle or other experiences of non-joy. You can cancel the negative effects of disempowering thoughts, but identifying them first is helpful. When words are combined with strong feelings and images, the impact is greatly enhanced. Use today’s affirmation, or a variation, to cancel negativity of expressions that tend to create non-joyful experiences. It is even more important to identify empowering statements, so do not spend too long on this assignment.

June 2, Positive Affirmation for Joy

June 2nd, 2008 Jeanie Marshall Posted in 1-Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations, Monthly Theme: Joy No Comments »

"I rescind obsolete vows of struggle, sacrifice, and unworthiness.
Angels lift this heaviness.
"

… Greetings! Our theme is Joy. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-joy at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
This is one of the variations of the "vows of limitation" affirmation. As you recognize what gets in the way of joy for you, you may find that you have created a rule or vow or limiting belief about that very thing. You can not harm angels by giving them the heaviness of outdated beliefs and vows and struggle and pain, but you can lighten your own load. Angels are here for all humanity. Someone in the human body must ask for their help because they do not interfere in human lives. They watch, fascinated and amused by acts of limitation, but they do not act without invitation. Our beckoning invites them to act in accordance with the divine.

About Your Process
I suggest you scan your life for the limiting vows or ideas that you believe, that you hold to be true. For example, do you believe there is not enough money? This is a false belief. The appearance of "not enough money" presents itself as an experience because it is a manifestation of the belief itself. The experience or "proof" shows up because of the power of the beliefs. Experiences of "not enough money" are created to demonstrate thoughts of lack. I pick the belief in "not enough money" because it is so prevalent. Perhaps you are rescinding a different vow or false belief today or this week. P.S. If you start to argue that there truly is "not enough money" you are arguing for limitations. You have a right to do this, I simply wish to mention this just in case you are inclined to step into that trap. (Incidentally, DailyAffirm explores the theme of Abundance in September.)

About Rescinding Limiting Beliefs
I have posted an article at my Web Site explaining the process of rescinding limiting beliefs. This extensive article is available in several sections. Click on the link below to read the article.
