… Greetings! Our theme is Abundance at DailyAffirm, http://dailyaffirm.wordpress.com. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming abundance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.
About Today’s Affirmation
Today, allow your imagination to open to an action-oriented picture. Pretend that everything that you do, say, and think is fueled by an energy source that is appropriately called "abundance." Or you may find it helpful to focus on peace or love in addition to or instead of abundance – the energy is essentially the same, in spite of the word change. This energy is invisible, yet you know without a doubt that it is the fuel that energizes everything. So, step onto a path (you might call it a spiritual path or a city street or a mountain trail) with plenty of the abundance fuel in your pockets, in your eyes, in your hands, in your heart, in your head. Proceed on the journey letting your imagination tell you that all your needs are met.
And guess what? This is not a fantasy; this is the truth that you can be realizing in your life, if you just give it your attention. You are fueled by an invisible energy. It is the substance with which you manifest on this physical plane. You can choose one of several paths: to use abundance consciously, to forget it, to misuse it, to confuse it with other things, to choose lack (its opposite) instead.
About Your Process
Do you like the above action-oriented picture I described? It is time to paint your own picture, or weave your tapestry. The Abundance Vision Statement is an opportunity for you to claim the picture you are creating by using words. Start wherever you are (physically and consciously). If you feel fear, start there, but please do not include fears and doubts and limitations in your Abundance Vision Statement. The ideal Abundance Vision Statement has one to two short sentences. Here are a few samples of Statements submitted by DailyAffirm Subscribers in previous years (names withheld):
- "My heart is full of love, my spirit sings with joy, my body dances in the light and my mind knows the eternal connection of all that is."
- "I fly free in the Light of Love itself which upholds and guides me. My life is a beautiful song which I sing for you now and always."
- "I am One with the Universe."
- "With a grateful heart, I consciously manifest everything in my life from the ever-flowing, light-filled energy of Abundance."
